Pennie Post, who kindly sent me this package to review, is a monthly stationary subscription service. Each month you will receive at least 3 stationary items.  More commonly used greeting cards such as thank you notes and birthday cards will be included more often than other greetings. Seasonal cards such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and holiday may also be included during appropriate months.

The Envelope

Pennie Post ships via USPS and usually arrives the first week of the month.

Everything from Pennie Post arrives in a sealed plastic pouch with all the contents safely inside.

The Information Card

The December 2014 Pennie Post theme was “Warm & Bright” and included the following selections to help you slow down from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season and send some hand-written notes to your loved ones:

~Warmest Wishes Penguin Card: How cute is this little guy?  I love this card and so look forward to sending it out.  I will probably save it till after the holiday though when things are drab and dull and everyone needs a pick-me-up!

~Shimmer Confetti Note Card: This card is perfection!  It’s everything I am loving right now and would be an awesome gift enclosure card or just a note to a friend for the new year.

~Patterned Gift Stickers: I didn’t realize it, but these are actually sticky gift labels! How fun!  I thought they were just little cards.  I am thinking these with some brown craft paper wrapping will be awesome.

~Looking like Christmas Letterpress Card by Elum Designs: This card is gorgeous!  Even if you don’t celebrate Christmas, you probably know someone who does that would enjoy this card!

As usual, I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this month’s Pennie Post.  The cards are specific to Pennie Post and you can’t get them anywhere else so there is no way to calculate the cost.  The subscription itself is $11/month though, which works out to about $2.75/item.  For cards of this quality I don’t think that is unreasonable by any means.
