December 2014 Style Quarterly Box by PäshBox

Style Quarterly by PäshBox, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a seasonal, limited edition box that features 3-6 fashion and beauty (skincare, nail care, hair care and bath + body) products, delivered to your door once per quarter. PäshBox was previously a monthly subscription box which focused primarily on scarves, however, they transitioned to quarterly boxes over the summer and the fall box was their first quarterly offering.

The Box

Style Quarterly by PäshBox ships via USPS Priority Mail during the last week of September, December, March and June.

Umm, how cute is this box?  I love it!  It’s by Aditi Dokani of The Painted Shoe and Style Quarterly also included a 5×7 print (complete with an quote from Audrey Hepburn) in case you wanted to fame it.  Gorgeous!

First Look

You may or may not be able to tell, but the box is one of those fancy magnetic closure boxes. I knew right away with this gorgeous box and packaging that I was in for a treat with this one!

Second First Look

Amazing first look!  I couldn’t wait to dig into everything and see what it all was.

The Information Cards

Style Quarterly includes an information card with all the product details, a general information card and a letter with some additional details about the box.  Not only was there so many great goodies to look through in here, but lots of reading material as well.  LOL!

The December 2014 Style Quarterly Box (#stylequarterlybox02) was all about treating yourself after a long, hard winter’s day and is centered around warmth, coziness and self-indulgence.  Here is what was included:

~Rose Milk Bath Soak by Elucx ($21.20): I was looking at this bath soak (which smells amazing) and I couldn’t figure out what the dark “things” in it where.  And then it finally dawned on me that they were rose petals!  Duh!  I can’t wait to use this!

~Tokyo Factory Fig + Vanilla Candle ($12): If you put a candle in a subscription box (or anywhere near me) chances are pretty good I am going to like it.  But I LOVE this.  I love the smell (which a perfect not too strong blend of fig and vanilla), the label, the packaging, everything!

~Soap & Paper Factory Snow Drop Collection Hand Cream in Winter Vanilla ($10): The information card says exactly what I am thinking about this. I literally cannot get enough of this hand cream.  For real.  It smells incredible.  This same brand actually was included in a previous limited edition Birchbox box and I couldn’t get enough of that scent either.  Incredible!

~Cozy Cable Knit Socks (~$7): Although I certainly wish that Michigan weather allowed for the flip-flops year round, it does not.  But if I have to wear socks, at least I can wear cute ones like these.

~Hot Chocolate Sticks by Ticket Chocolate ($13.50): I love hot chocolate on a stick, but Ticket Chocolate is new to me. Which actually makes it even better.  I gifted some hot chocolates sticks this year, but I wish I would have known about this brand sooner because these are much fancier than the Target ones I bought.  I will know of next year though.

~Boucle Knit Infinity Scarf ($19.99): This scarf is beyond soft and is also very stylish.  It’s not giant like some of the infinity scarves out there and could actually be worn with your outfit all day without people wondering why you had a winter scarf on indoors.

~Bonus Gift: Mug (~$5): As noted on the information card, this mug is a bonus item.  It reminds me of a diner coffee mug and I love it.   You can drink your hot chocolate in it, or pour some wine in it and take it in the bathtub when you use your bath milk.  Either one works for me!

All totaled I came up with an estimated value of $88.69 for the December 2014 Style Quarterly by PäshBox.  The information card doesn’t list prices because they want subscribers to focus on the actual items in the box from the small businesses they support, but I did the math and can tell you that it’s well worth the $49.90/month cost of the box.  I absolutely loved it and thought everything was perfectly curated.  It felt like it was all picked out just for me.  Amazing amazing box!
