Indulge Me Box, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly gift box based on Canada which features a mix of skin care, makeup, accessories and surprise gifts for you. Each box contains 4-5 items and promises to include both niche, unique brands, as well as, more well known brands.
Indulge Me Box ships from Canada and took under a week to arrive to me here in the States.
The first look on this one was mixed. I saw something peeking out that I loved, but I also saw a few things I wasn’t so sure about.
The January 2015 Indulge Me Box included the following surprises for the new year:
~Pretty Tea ($3.50): As you well know, I don’t love tea, but I know a lot of people do, so I understand why it’s in so many boxes. It always sounds so good, but I don’t love the taste. My cousin will enjoy it though.
~Fresh Cream Tinted Lip Balm ($3.51): This is such a gorgeous color that I wish there was a better name for it than just a lip balm. It’s a super pretty coral with gold shimmer in it. So so pretty!
~Naiad Soap Arts Sugar Scrub (Beach House) ($5.50): OMG love! I have tried sugar scrubs from this company before and they are incredible. I was thrilled to see this and will be pretending I am at a Beach House while I am using it in the shower and it’s freezing cold out.
~Karma Hoop Earrings ($12): These are…interesting. I think on the right person with the right outfit, they could work. They are just a little too big to work for me.
~Braid String with Feather ($8): At first I thought this was supposed to be a necklace and thought no way. Nope. Now that I know it’s for your hair I still don’t know that I will use it, but I have a friend who I know will absolutely love it!
~Indie Beauty Shop Face Mask ($1): My skin still needs some serious detox! The amount of water I have been sucking down hasn’t cleared it up yet, but I have my fingers crossed it will happen soon. In the meantime, I will give this a try.
All totaled I came up with a value of $33.51 for the January 2015 Indulge Me Box. Had a different jewelry piece been included I probably would have absolutely loved it, but I did still think it was a solid box! As promised, they introduced me to some new brands and included some old favorites as well.
What do you think of Indulge Me Box? It doesn’t look like they are taking any new subscriptions at this time, but I will try and update when they open up again!
The braid string with feathers would make the perfect cat toy! Maybe I will try to swap for one…haha!
Those earrings are adorable. I have long dark hair and almost always have it down unless I am running or working out….I have to wear big ‘ole earrings or you never see them. Big earrings are something you definitely have to get used to!!

Love this box! And my 6yo would totally rock the hair feather (Pocohantas style 🙂 The lip balm and sugar scrub look divine. Enjoy!
