February 2015 The Boodle Box

The Boodle Box, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box full of adorable accessories and beauty products that encourage girls of all ages (boxes are broken down into a 5-10 age group and a 11+ age group) to uncover new things and discover themselves in the process! This box is for the 11+ age group, but you don’t have to be a tween or teen to enjoy it.  I am well over that age and love it!

The Box

The Boodle Box ships now via USPS First Class Mail. They previously used Priority Mail, but the switch hasn’t added too much extra shipping time.

First look

The first look was quite pink and very Valentine’s Day’ish.

The Information Card

The February 2015 The Boodle Box theme was “Pretty in Pink” and included the following goodies:

~Cabachon Hair Pins & Comb Set ($12.99): These pins are so cute that I wish I wore things like this more.  They’d work for just about any age really.  I didn’t realize it until I looked at the picture of write this review up, but my comb is actually missing a piece. Since this is a review box I didn’t contact them about a replacement, but I have never heard of there being an issue with customer service with Boodle Box, so I would expect they’d take care of it ASAP!

~Reversible Pony Tail Scarf ($10.50): I love the colors on this, the prints, I love it all. This will make a pony tail extra fun for sure.

~Rhinestone Heart Cord Bracelets ($11.98): The idea with these is to keep one of these bracelets and give one to your bestie. Basically a cuter version of the “Best Friend” necklaces we had when I was this age.

~Pink Lace Boot Toppers ($12): Super cute.   The Boodle Box sent out boot socks a few months ago, but depending on the height of your boots, those may not work.  These will though.  No matter what!

~Simply Pink by Pink Sugar Perfume Sample ($1.99): I.love.PinkSugar.  I have been buying it for years and years and it’s the one perfume that I always come back to.  It smells like cotton candy (in a good way) and I have gotten so many comments on it over the years.  So good.

~OFRA Millennium Pink Eye Shadow ($15): This is a nice soft color and is perfect for a tween.  It’s not going to give you a bold dramatic eye look (which is good), but instead you’ll get a great light pink / beige shimmer.

All totaled I came up with a value of $66.46 for the February 2015 The Boodle Box Two subscription box.  I just love their themes and think they do such a great job putting together a well-rounded and totally age appropriate box!

Hi Jennifer! Check the back side of the hair accessories card. I believe you’ll find that that “tooth” on the comb is the one holding it onto the card in the slot. 🙂 Thanks for the great review! 🙂
