February 2015 Yogi Surprise Subscription Review

My February 2015 Yogi Surprise box arrived over the weekend!  I mention it every month, but I won an annual subscription during a referral giveaway they had before they launched, so I have been getting them ever since they started.

Yogi Surprise is a monthly care package designed to complement your healthy lifestyle. Within each Yogi Surprise you’ll receive 6-8 full size products ranging from unique yoga accessories and natural beauty items to herbal tonics, organic snacks and super food essentials.  One subscriber per month will also win that month’s Yogi Surprise retreat. The February retreat location hasn’t been announced yet, but you can find details on past ones here.

I love the Yogi Surprise boxes themselves.  They are cute and are always packed full of items.

The Information Card

The February 2015 Yogi Surprise theme was “The Warmth of Compassion” and included the following items to keep your inspiring energy and activity:

~Native Touch Rooting Bear Rub ($9.99): I was worried that this might smell too strong, but it wasn’t. It’s great for any dry patches of skin you skin you may have.

~Emma Organics All-Sprouted Granola ($9.50): This is made from oats, almonds & walnuts and rice with a coconut, cinnamon, vanilla and a dash of pink sea salt.  This is more of a B snack, so I am going to give it to him to enjoy.

~Kaia Naturals Juicy Bamboo Facial Cleansing Cloths ($15.50): OMG I love these!  They are facial wipes and they have the cutest packaging I have ever seen.  B even commented on it.  These are way more than I would spend on face wipes, but I they made my skin feel great and I will happily use them up.

~Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn Face and Body Bar ($6.95): This soap is made from 100% all-natural ingredients and works to detoxify your skin.  I am going to leave this one in the shower so I always have a face soap in there.

~Organic Yoga Headband ($12): Maybe not the most attractive headband ever, but it didn’t give me a headache and it kept the hair out of my eyes.

~Kishu Charcoal To Go ($9.49):  I think this is just the neatest thing ever. You can keep this in your water bottle and make your water filtered anywhere you are.  One stick lasts 4-months which I thought was impressive. You do need to make sure that you use a wide mouth water bottle though, otherwise this will not fit.  Still, it’ll save you a fortune in bottled water.  Pretty smart idea if you ask me.

~Keen-Wah Energy Functional & Glow Bars ($5.38): I wasn’t a huge fan of these.  They were okay, but I didn’t like them enough where I wanted to buy more.

All totaled I came up with a value of $68.81 for the February 2015 Yogi Surprise box.  This was a great month and once again it was filled with brands that were all new to me.  I was impressed with this month’s unique picks for sure!

I love this box. Its in my top 4. Its a huge mix of things im unfamiliar with. So I benefit lot from it. Its fun. I love the cards that come with it and explain what you are getting. The charcoal filter was the most awesome new find to me. Im pleased with this box. Very!!!

I liked pretty much everything in the box except those bars, but I think they need to have a little less repetition. We just got a similar body butter a month a two or ago, and they’ve already done four sprays of fairly similar use since the beginning. I guess I just wish there was a little more yoga focus or more diversity in the non-yoga items.
