GLOSSYBOX Limited Edition Mother’s Day Box

GLOSSYBOX is a monthly beauty subscription box and includes five luxury surprise beauty items shipped to your door for $21/month.  Every now and then they also offer Limited Edition boxes. This box is the Limited Edition Mother’s Day Box that just went on sale a few days ago. It’s a one-time purchase of $40 and includes a luxurious assortment of beauty products hand picked to make your mom smile.

The Box

I received this box early for review purposes, but GLOSSYBOX recommends ordering by April 27th to guarantee that your box will ship by May 1st.  They aren’t guaranteeing it will be received in time for Mother Day, but it will leave by May1st and that gives it nine days to arrive which should be plenty of time.

GLOSSYBOX releases the contents of their Limited Edition Boxes in advance so you know exactly what you are going to be receiving.  This box didn’t include an information card (which may be because it was sent so early or it may just not contain one), but it included the following items:

~Orogold Cosmetics 24K Bionic Complex Thermal Mask ($298): No, that price is not wrong.  This mask is really $298.  And I couldn’t wait to get it on my face.  I mean, I needed to know what a $300 mask felt like.  The consistency is thin on top, but when you scoop it out to use, it gets thicker and isn’t runny at all like I had originally thought it would be.  It heats up when you rub it into your face, but not in an uncomfortable way.  Just in a wow, I think I can feel this working way.  There were no instructions on the container, but I checked online and you are supposed to apply it twice a week and leave it on for 15 minutes.  Now I have only used this once, but I am thrilled.  I thought it left my skin cleaner and brighter.

~Fusion Beauty Lipfusion Infatuation (Pucker Up) ($29): So this has some special technology that is supposed to promote and store your lips own natural fatty acids for long term lip volume. I didn’t see any change in volume when I tried it (these things may take time), but I thought the coverage was great. It’s a liquid lipstick with shine and is very creamy.

~Laura Geller Inkcredible Gel Eyeliner (Brown Eyed Girl) ($20): I was so impressed with this one I might just keep it for myself (I usually pass along eyeliners to friends). The liner went on super smooth and the color is fantastic.  I also love that the cap stays on so tight!  You can hear it snap on so you don’t have to worry about the cap coming off in your bag.

~Vichy Proeven Daily Dark Spot Corrector ($45): This is supposed to reduce dark spots and make your skin brighter and more even.  According to the Vichy website 95% of testers found a visible reduction in dark spots in just 8 weeks.  I (obviously) haven’t used it for 8 weeks yet, but I am going to add this into the mix and see how it goes for me.

~Vince Camuto Bella Rollerball ($22): At first I thought we’d received this in a previous GLOSSYBOX, but that was the “Amore” scent.  Anyway, I fell in love with this the minute I opened it.  It’s incredible.  It’s described as a blend of nectarine blossoms, jasmine water and Italian bergamot.  I wouldn’t have been able to pull any of those notes out myself, but I do now I love it.  I feel smelling my arm.  OMG.

~Bodyography Cream Shadow (Glimmer) ($20): I received a different shade of this shadow in another box and loved it.  The texture is fun and the shimmery colors are fabulous.

All totaled I came up with a value of $434 for the GLOSSYBOX Limited Edition Mother’s Day Box. I expected to like this box based on the pictures and descriptions online, but I was blown away when it came in person.  I love it. I mean, I got this box to review plus I ordered one for myself as well because it’s such a crazy deal.  Totally love it!

What do you think of the GLOSSYBOX Limited Edition Mother’s Day Box?  If you want to pick one up I’d grab it quickly because I am guessing this one will sell out!

    Hey Jenn,

do you know if we can order more than one box at once or do they have to be separate transactions?

    Thanks!

    1. Jennifer

I *think* they have to be separate transactions. But it can be on the same account! Shipping is free, so it’s just an extra checkout.

    Jennifer,
What’s your best guess on how many uses you get out of the mask? Since, I know it is something I would never own again, lol. Thanks.

Gosh, it’s big. I’d say at least 15????

    Thanks for providing swatches! 🙂

I usually don’t because I figure by the time I get my reviews posted that month’s box is sold out so you won’t be getting those products anyway you know? But this box is still available so I figured I should!
