~Good morning! How was your weekend? We had a great one! B was home all weekend (he was away with the National Guard last weekend and was then out of town all week for work) so the kids loved that. Plus we celebrated both B and WB’s birthdays and the weather was gorgeous (well it was only half nice out yesterday) which allowed us to spend most of the weekend outside. I got nothing done around the house though, so it the next few days likely won’t be quite as fun as the weekend!
~I am still exhausted from staying up way too late messing with the Lily Pulitzer + Target launch on early Sunday morning. It’s going to be a minute before I recover from that mess. LOL. All the stores around me are basically wiped clean (and have been since about 10 minutes after stores opened yesterday), but my girl Dana (DANA) picked up a bunch of stuff for me from her Target (best.Target.ever) which I should be getting in a few days. I cannot wait. And I am hoping my online orders all end up going through as well. I still can’t figure out what they were thinking with that launch. They hyped it like crazy for 4 months and then there’s just not enough stuff. You’d think they would have learned from Missoni! Anyway, I’ll post some pictures when it arrives. I don’t want to get too excited before I see it.
~We are planning on starting Baby Foot tonight. I have explained more of what’s going to happen (basically all the dead skin falls off your feet) to B and he’s getting a tad concerned. LOL. He started out all into it, but the more he learned the more concerned he is. But he says hell still do it. I think it could take up to 2 weeks for the process to complete, so I’ll report back in a few days.
~Lots of subscription boxes coming this week! I am expecting Birchbox Lovely Day Limited Edition Box, Citrus Lane, Kloverbox, Little Lace Box (I think they start shipping today?), Loot Crate, Phone Case of the Month Something Snacks and there are a handful more showing up in USPS that I just can’t identify.
~Is anyone else planning on watching the Bruce Jenner interview this week? I have to admit, I am fascinated. I am quite curious to know if anyone knew before he told them or if he had told them years ago or what? And how do you even broach something like that with your children? It’s going to be very interesting to say the least.
~That’s about it from here! WB has his 3 year well visit this morning so we need to start getting ready. What do you have going on this week? What boxes are you expecting?
