~Good morning! I am pleased to report that I am feeling MUCH better today. Hopefully whatever we all had is making it’s way out of here now and NOT coming back.
~So I mentioned yesterday that my gmail was showing my name as “Holidays in the United States” which I thought was super weird. Well, it turns out that I am not alone. A few of you mentioned that you have the same issue which is even weirder! I mean what the heck? I did a little googling and it turns out it’s some Google glitch. I tried a few of the ideas here and I *think* I fixed it, but we’ll see! But seriously, how on earth does this stuff happen? Technology is so weird.
~We finally made it to see the Easter Bunny! L, of course, loved visiting with the bunny and happily smiled for the picture. WB? Not so much. He was telling me before we got there about how he was going to smile and talk to the bunny (I showed him pictures before we went) and all this other stuff. And then we got there and he wasn’t having it. LOL. And now he looks at this picture and just laughs.
~I’ve still got a few boxes coming this week including Kiwi Crate, Stitch Fix, Doodle Crate, Kiwi Crate, GLOSSYBOX (I am getting a review box so it’s coming early), Your Bijoux Box and Julep (if it ships today).
~Have you ever made your own dry shampoo? I saw instructions for it on For the Makers yesterday and am totally intrigued. It’s just arrowroot powder and cocoa powder mixed 50/50.
~Did you hear that the Spartans are headed to the Final Four? Just in case you have missed my 9 million other posts on it I wanted to mention it again! The game is Saturday at 6:09pm and I will probably be so nervous all day Saturday that I won’t be able to focus on anything else. Oh, can someone who sells Jamberry tell me why they don’t have Michigan State Nail Wraps? They have like every other school, but not MSU. Whatever Jamberry I’ll just paint my nails green and white!

You know, it’s funny, I’ve been making “dry shampoo” since before it was a product on the market. I used to just mix talcum powder (like baby powder, scented or unscented) with some baking soda and sprinkle it on my scalp and rub it in. You don’t want too much baking soda because it’s a little coarse. I always thought I was such a degenerate for doing this but I HATE waking up to wash my hair and sometimes I’m too tired to wash it the night before. LOL!

About the dry shampoo: pinterest sucks me in every time I start looking for DIY things. There are so many amazing pins and some of them don’t look too hard, but I usually end up being on the fence about them to the point where I check YouTube to see, if anybody ever tried them^^
