Stitch Fix is a personal styling service for women. With Stitch Fix, you provide your style, size, and budget preferences, and they will send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. There is a $20 styling fee that is applied to your order should you decide to keep any / all of the pieces.  If you don’t keep anything, you don’t receive a refund of the fee. And if you keep all of the pieces, you get a 25% discount on everything!  Also, I should mention that you are only charged once you “check out” at Stitch Fix.  You have a few days to try everything on and the box comes with a bag and a prepaid USPS return label so you can easily ship back the pieces you aren’t interested in.

I am not sure I got an e-mailing letting me know this one shipped, but even if I did I didn’t peek at my account to see what was coming like I usually do!

The Information Card

Each Stitch Fix comes with an information card which includes a listing of everything in the box, prices, and then a total of how much everything would be if you kept it all (it deducts your $20 styling fee and the 25% discount for keeping all of your items).  Just to give you an idea, my box had a merchandise total of $236 and had I kept everything, I would have had to pay $162 (plus my $20 styling fee and that is taking into account the 25% discount you get for buying all of the pieces).  Here are the pieces I received:

~ Bancroft Danielle Long Knot Necklace ($32): I styled this into a layered looked, but it’s actually just one long necklace.  You could double it up or even triple it up kind of like I did here.  I think the necklace is cute and the price point is spot on, but I don’t “need” it and wouldn’t wear it enough to justify keeping it.  Verdict: Returned.

~Kut From The Kloth Kate Distressed Boyfriend Jean ($78):  I like these jeans.  Like a lot.  They are stretchy and I love the wash on them.  I don’t have a pair of boyfriend jeans yet either.  Verdict: Kept.

~Market & Spruce Sam Hi-Lo Short Sleeve Tee ($44): This green color is gorgeous, but I don’t think it’s $44worth of gorgeous.  I thought it was true-to-size, but I am not in love.  I may have kept it if it were a n-neck?  Verdict: Returned.

~Papermoon Bellini Kimono ($38): I love the print, but this is another one I am just not sure how much use I’d get out of it.  Verdict: Returned.

~Papermoon Crissy Spacedye Cross-Back Knit Shirt ($44): As I was pulling this one out of the box I thought oh, this is a keeper.  And then I saw the decoration on the pocket and nope.  I don’t like that.   Verdict: Returned.

I ended up keeping one outfit this month, which, after my $20 styling fee, ended up costing $58.  That’s not too bad for a cute pair of jeans so I am happy.  I am still waiting to get another Fix where I keep everything though!

I got the same jeans a few months ago! I loved them too, the fit is amazing but I had to send them back. I end up buying a new pair everytime I get mine each month! I’ve got too many now!

Nice! I would have loved this selection! I can’t bring myself to do it because I’d like to think I could find more than 5 items on around $200, but then again, I would have been very happy with this group for $175 after the discount.
