The Boodle Box (Two) June 2015 Subscription Box

The Boodle Box is a monthly subscription box full of adorable accessories and beauty products that encourage girls of all ages (boxes are broken down into a 5-10 age group and a 11+ age group) to uncover new things and discover themselves in the process! This box is for the 11+ age group (I will be doing a review on the 5-10 year-old age group as well), but you don’t have to be a tween or teen to enjoy it.  I am well over that age and love it!

The Box

The Boodle Box ships via USPS First Class Mail. Boxes arrive at the very beginning of the month (or at the end of the previous month), which I absolutely love.

I hadn’t gotten a chance to peek at any spoilers so opening this one up was super fun.

The Information Card

The June 2015 The Boodle Box (Two) theme was “Summer Shimmer” and included the following items:

~PREP Cosmetics Purifying Daily Cleanser ($12.50): This is a skincare brand just for girls!  PREP educates girls on the dangers of sun exposure and teaches them to take care of their skin so they will be comfortable with it for life.  I would have loved this as a teen and, well, I even love it now.

~Eva NYC Surf’s UP! Texture Spray ($10): I love texture sprays and I think eva NYC is a fun brand.  It’s not crazy expensive and their packaging is very fun.  And the spray works great.

~Royal Standards Bikini Bag ($9): This is billed as a wet bag for your swimsuit, but I’m using it as a pouch for “stuff”.  Right now I have all the contents from this month’s box in it.

~Secret Destinations Collection – Paris Romantic Rose ($3.97): Who doesn’t need deodorant in the summer?  This smells great and it works. I always buy Secret!

~Neon Puffy Paint 4-Pack ($7.65):  Ahhh, I am so excited about this!  I am going to use it to make t-shirts with the boys this summer.  You apply it, wait 6 hours and then use a hair dryer to puff up the paint.  We can do that!

~“I Don’t Sweat I Sparkle” Bling Iron-On ($5): I am not totally sure how we will use this iron-on, but it sounds like a fun project.  The Boodle Box is running a contest this month on Instagram to show off your bling iron-on and / or your puffy paint creation.  Just post it on Instagram using #theboodlebox and you will be entered to win a Kate Spade purse.

~Bonus: Candy Bracelet & Yellowberry: The box also included a fun candy bracelet and an offer from Yellowberry.  Yellowberry makes unique, colorful bras for girls.  They are cute and totally age appropriate.  And they even have an Intro to Yellowberry Bundle + Hello Flow box for girls.  LOVE THIS!

All totaled I came up with a value of $48.12 for the June 2015 The Boodle Box. I love this box.  I always do. It’s so cute and I swear, it’s not just for teens / tweens.

This box always seems so fun and functional too.

PS that’s my favorite deodorant pretty much ever.. so there’s that.
