My Kloverbox + MSA Beach House Box is here! We having lots of storms here today so the lighting on these pictures is a mess, but I wanted to get my post up ASAP! If you aren’t familiar with them, Kloverbox is a great way to try premium, all-natural and organic products for beauty, health, nutrition and convenience. With their monthly subscription you will receive 6-8 premium products to sample, each from top brands and hand-picked by their health conscious curators. Boxes are $25/month and will have a value of a least double the cost of the box. This box is the Limited Edition Kloverbox + My Subscription Addiction Beach House Box. It was a one-time purchase box which cost $100 and is now sold out.
The Kloverbox + MSA Beach House Box shipped via USPS Priority Mail and took just two days to arrive. It shipped a day or two after it was originally scheduled to, but communication on the delay was great so it wasn’t a big deal for me.
Kloverbox mentioned that the packaging on this would be “creative” and once I opened it up a little more I knew what they were talking about!
The Kloverbox + MSA Beach House Box included the following items:
~Goldfaden MD – Sun Visor ($45): This sunscreen is fragrance and oil-free and can be worn under or over makeup. That is absolutely perfect because if your daily moisturizer doesn’t have SPF in it or you need to reapply sunscreen during the day you can do it with this and you won’t mess up your “face”. It’s super lightweight and I can see this as becoming a new holy grail for me.
~One Love Organics – Vitamin C Body Polish ($48): This smells fantastic! I couldn’t love it more. It’s described as having a pineapple scent and it’s awesome. I washed my hands with it to test it and it left them clean, but didn’t leave that extra layer of oil that some scrubs will leave.
~Tatcha – Enriching Renewal Cream ($44.40): This sample is tiny, but, like the card says, a little but goes a long way. It reduces age spots and renews your appears and I am all for both of those. I put it on right away and found it moisturizing, but not greasy. I already love it, but am hoping it’s not a new holy grail because the full-size is $185! Ouch!
~Hand in Hand – Sea Salt Liquid Hand Soap ($18): This is beyond perfect for a beach house box! It’s a sea salt hand soap with a fresh “minty scent”. The packaging is quite pretty too.
~Thursday Friday – Gold Toe Tote ($60 $12 $22): These totes were sent in three different colors (not too sure what 3 colors those were), but I love the sea green color I received. The bag is lined and very sturdy. You could use it for the beach or even as an overnight bag. ETA: You can snag this tote for $12 $22 on the Thursday Friday site right now with the coupon code “vacation80“! Edited again to add: The tote was marked down to $60 (from $110) and the coupon code was taking 80% off the $60 price tag making it just $12. Now it’s back up to $110 and works out to be $22 after the coupon code.
~Olio Studio – Aqua Stripe Pillow: This pillow is an exclusive just for The Beach House box! It’s color is supposed to remind you of your favorite serene vacation spot and it really does. This was also the item that they had to get creative with on the packaging. The pillow itself was vacuum sealed to fit in the box. I will admit, it was fun to open the seal and watch it expand.
Since the pillow was an exclusive for this box I couldn’t do a full cost breakdown on it. But it was obviously worth well over the $100 price tag and I thought it was fantastic! Liz at My Subscription Addiction has great taste and so does Kelly at Kloverbox so I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed.

Super review! The beauty items are pure luxury, i love Tatcha its my favorite skin care brand but super pricey. That scrub smells like heaven its such a fruity pineapple fresh smoothie scent.
I used the sun screen today and its awesome. I spritzed my face and chest. So easy. No burning eyes.

Great review. I loved this box. I received the blue tote. I wasn’t expecting to see a pillow, but it definitely works and is a great addition to my office chair. I was so excited to see TATCHA included. Liz from MSA got me addicted to TATCHA as well as subscription boxes. I thought the curation was great. So happy with the new brands also. I’m really hoping that MSA and Kloverbox curate more boxes.

Kelly and Liz did a great job. I love my box.! My tote variation is antler which looks beige. My pillow already had the case on it. I agree it was fun watching it re-inflate . The polish smells wonderful. I used the sunscreen today although I am not sure if it is working right. It sprays out foam-like requiring me to rub it in. Is that how it is supposed to work? I also used my hand soap today which has a wonderful scent 🙂 I am happy to see the TATCHA cream in the box. I purchased the travel size before and loved it. I will be using the code on the hand cream ,which is my favorite, and blotting papers.
The box was announced back in April. I hope people are understanding that sometimes things go on sale. It must be difficult in selecting something not knowing if it may go on sale in the future. It’s crazy that Century 21 has it for such a low price. I can also see the other side and see why people may be upset, but I still think it must be difficult in knowing whether an item will go down in price when the box is shipped.

I did not get my package yet . . . I am curious about the sunscreen I was hoping it would be a spray like it stated that it was and not a foam. Jennifer is it a spray that comes out as a spray? Can anyone advise? TIA

Sorry! I am so behind! It’s a spray. It’s a thin milkish color. Obviously the closer you spray you spray it to your face the more you have to rub it in. Hope this helps!

I liked the box fairly well. The pillow and skin care goods seem like they will be awesome. The tote seemed cheap…so I looked it up on their website and it is on sale for $12 (yes, twelve dollars!, with the 80% off code plastered above the sale page). So, yes- it really is cheap. I would have expected a nicer quality bag.
It’s a nice box. I’m a little disappointed with the tote, probably because it’s not exactly to my taste and it doesn’t feel “beachy”. I think a beach towel would have worked better, especially with the pillow.

I just went to the website to purchase the tote, because for $12 it’s really cute! They’re now selling it for $110, although the code does work, so it comes out to $22. That’s still a good price, but it’s not quite the steal I was hoping for. Ah well.

I totally missed the shipping. Honestly, I think $32 is a pretty reasonable price to pay for a quality tote, but I already have plenty of totes. I just seem to be incapable of resisting an extreme bargain. Speaking of which, I really wish I hadn’t discovered subscription box review blogs. I’ve completely abandoned my money-hoarding ways this month.

This is a great box, I had to sell it though because my husband caught on to me! LOL. I sold it last night for 95.00 minus the 20.00 coupon card and I paid the shipping, 8.00. I used the card to buy a tote for my mother in law that was 25.00 to start with. So it was only 5.00. I went back today and got the tote bag in blue since it was so cheap, I liked mine, but I did not like the color so all in all, I am thrilled with the outcome of my box!
I’m sad there’s not a candle, but then I’m candle obsessed. I’ll never be able to burn all the candles I already have.
Ok, and I’m sorry, but I feel like the pillow is sort of odd? I feel like usually I need at least two pillows. I would have like a beach blanket/throw, but then I always want a throw LOL
Yes, I think of Beach House and I think of candles, beachy throw, plastic margarita glasses, lime, Cloth napkins in a nautical theme, stuff like the pillow and tote and hand soap are like that to me. And super cute.
Yeah, I agree the hand soap and tote are totally beach house! And I’m glad to be getting a tote because I missed out on the PS baggu one. For throw pillows, though, is it weird to only have one pillow on one side of your couch? I feel like there should be two… That’s all I meant. I’m going to try to swap for another.
Sorry, but after reading all the comments on MSA, I am so glad I didn’t buy this box… it looks terrible. I would have wanted a refund.
I agree. I was upset I missed out but now I am glad I did. While I would of liked some of the items I would of been very disappointed spending that much money and not loving it.
As an add on to my previous comment after looking further into a couple of the items you reviewed I would of been very happy with them, I may even purchase them myself! Even though I didn’t love the whole box I could of gifted the rest. Sometimes first impressions can be wrong as it was for me in this instance.
I was disappointed when I saw the review but now that I have the box in my hands I’m totally happy – I will use every single thing in the box. And I love the tote – it’s canvas and perfect for summer.
It is pretty clear that you are not a fan of MSA from what you have posted in the past so this is not a surprise.

I love the color of the tote bag you received, mine’s “Antler” and it’s beige and kind of bronze-y on the bottom. I was expecting different things from this box with the name. But I think it’s very much Liz’s style, which I have different tastes so I shouldn’t have ordered this but oh well.

Mine is finally on the way…. Does anyone here get kloverbox by chance? I was wondering if their recent issues with product, delivery and not responding to inquires is out of the norm for them before I consider giving them a try. I like what I see product wise.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of them having these kinds of problems before, and from what I’ve heard, Kloverbox is usually pretty responsive. I think this was a huge project for them and they are a small sub. Things will probably go back to normal once this all settles down.
I get kloverbox and they have been awesome. I had some address problems and they got back to me so fast. I really have zero complaints. That’s kinda rare for me 😉
I’ve seen the tote on sale at different online vendors over the past few days. Most recently ideel.com has it for 9.99 not sure on shipping
as I didn’t get that far. I like the tote much better in person, i received the blue one, however the retail price they list it at is way out of wack. I may get another one if they still have them later when I can peruse that site better. They seem to have alot of good deals.
Some nice things in this box. I just got a beach box this month that is a new box called Adrift gifts and had some great fun beach items. You get to see up front what is in the box and get it or pass. If you like getting this beach box you might like it. I know one spoiler for next month and excited to see it revealed July 1.
