~Good evening! The boys and I had a busy day of running errands and thrifting and it ended up being way more fun than I thought. First of all the boys are obsessed with Goodwill. As I am. WB picked out a giant Barbie party van for $2.99 and L scored some cool remote controlled robot thing for $14.99. We also hit up the grocery store which happening to be giving away free hot dogs, waters, snacks and letting the kids sit in the firetrucks, so that turned out to be much more fun than we were anticipating.

~As for my Goodwill finds, I scooped up some “vintage” (i.e. 1994) Happy Meal Toys for a quarter, some Target tumblers, an Elf on The Shelf book for $1.99, a Starbucks mug (this one) and some fake fruit for the kids to play with.   I wish we had a Goodwill closer!  It’s just so fun.  Oh and I saw a Lilly for Target Hammock Stand there for $49.99, but that was the only Lilly thing I spotted.

~The secret Birchbox link is up if you want to catch a glimpse of what *might* be in your June box! These products might change when the real reveal is posted on the 10th, so don’t get too attached to anything you are seeing just yet. One of my June boxes shipped today and the e-mail included this note “You may have read in recent marketing materials that we originally planned to include an Eyeko Fat Liquid Eyeliner in every box for June. Our eyeliners are currently held up in customs, but don’t worry! You’ll still receive a makeup sample we love, and we plan to have the Eyeko Fat Liquid Eyeliners sent in a future box.”

~The planner groups I am in on Facebook are going insane about the Rose Gold planners that Erin Condren is launching the 9th, so I thought I’d mention it.  If you are a new customer you can use this link to save $10 off your first purchase.  Once you sign up for an account your code will be e-mailed to you.

~Just a quick heads up – POPSUGAR sent out an e-mail yesterday saying that they only had limited June boxes left, so if you have been on the fence about grabbing one, decide quickly!  You can use the coupon code “MUSTHAVE5” to save $5 off your first box and you can check out spoilers on it here.

That’s all for now!  Hope you are having a great night!

Your Goodwill sounds awesome. The only thing I’ve ever scored in mine was a big bag of Legos for 2 bucks (think of one of those zippered clear plastic bags that a new comforter set comes in). Completely full of old retro lego sets like the kind my brother and I used to play with. I think I was more excited over that find that my son was. Other than that, most of the stuff in mine is either dirty or broken. Occasionally you can find some cool vintage tshirts, if you feel like sifting through everything.

I really just like seeing what Target stuff they have and how cheap is it! LOL! Sometimes I KNOW it was cheaper in the store so even if I want it I refuse to buy it! But sometimes it’s amazing!

I really need to add Goodwill to my stop by list. We have one not to far but it always smells musty and so crazy in there I don’t stay long. LOL

N worked at McDonalds during the beanie craze and we have a huge box of them in the storage unit…. if they show up on your doorstep one day – I didn’t do it.

I rarely find anything at the Goodwill by me.

What planner community? Because yes, I’ve jumped on that bandwagon…but more that I’ve replaced my 20+ year old Franklin Covey system with something prettier.
