~Good evening! I can’t believe the weekend is almost over! It seemed to fly by. We got a ton of things done though, so that’s good. We even got a pool! LOL. I have no idea where ours from last year went, but it’s not in the garage so I picked up a new one. Target’s Summer Clearance just started and everything in the Summer area is at 30% off right now. I’ll be waiting till 90% off till I do any real damage though!
~I got the closet where I keep all of my subscription box samples and products all cleaned out today! I have been needing to do it forever and am so happy I got it checked off the list. I would take a picture of it, but you’d go, uhhh, I thought you cleaned that. I have posted about my sample organization before, but basically I have two 3-drawer storage bins (like this) and I keep the samples separated by type (skin care, fragrance, makeup, brushes / tools, etc.). Larger / full-size items go on shelves. I need to start writing the dates I receive them on the items though so I know what to use up first.
~B was busy today too! He got the entire pantry cleaned out and then put up shelves in the basement in his bar area. He used his Mantry crates and I LOVE how it turned out. We’ve been getting Mantry forever, so we have a ton of these crates. He’s using a bunch for storage on his bar too.
~Tonight is the season premier of Naked and Afraid XL! Naked and Afraid is one of my favorite shows so I hope this is just as good. I still can’t figure out why people actually go on that show (it’s my worst nightmare), but I am glad they do because I like to watch.
~I can’t remember who commented about the Nordstrom Debit Card, but thank you! I had no idea that they offered this and I will be getting one ASAP so I can get some early Anniversary Sale shopping done!
