The Boodle Box is a monthly subscription box full of adorable accessories and beauty products that encourage girls of all ages (boxes are broken down into a 5-10 age group and a 11+ age group) to uncover new things and discover themselves in the process! This box is for the 11+ age group, but you don’t have to be a tween or teen to enjoy it. I am well over that age and love it!
The Boodle Box ships via USPS First Class Mail. Boxes arrive at the very beginning of the month (or at the end of the previous month), which I absolutely love. This is my first August 2015 subscription box!
The Boodle Box always has the cutest themes and packaging. Everything coordinates perfectly – from the items in the box to the information card to the packing materials.
The July 2015 The Boodle Box theme was “Boodle Buzz” and included the following items:
~Honeycomb Bracelet ($14.50): I love this! It’s delicate, stylish and cute. It’d word well alone or in a stack.
~Honeybee Ring ($9.99): Hopefully you can see from the picture, but this is a tiny little bee ring! It’s adjustable, so you can wear it as a regular ring, a toe ring or a midi ring!
~Bellepierre Bling Glitter, Colour Stay & Sticker Stencils ($24.98): How fun is this? You can use the included stencils or you can use the included Colour Stay (it helps you apply the glitter more precisely and makes it last longer) and create your own designs. It’s safe you use on your hair, eyes, lips, body, etc.
~Chevron Cosmetics Bag ($6.99): The Boodle Box suggests this as a cosmetics bag, but I personally love it as a pencil bag! It’s the perfect size to throw in your book bag or locker and grab when you need.
~Nugg Soothing Face Mask ($3.29): If you haven’t tried these yet, I recommend trying them – regardless of your age. They come in a few varieties (and are all great), but the best part is that they are “single servings”. You never have to worry about using too much or too little because they are perfectly portioned.
~OFRA Cosmetics Glacier Pink Lipliner ($13): I was a little curious when I saw this in the box to see how it fit with the theme, but it turns out it’s made with a beeswax base! So very cool.
~Yoga Headbands ($6.96): I have one of these in already! They aren’t overly fancy, but they do the job and don’t give me a headache from being too tight.
~Schoola Donation Bag: The box also included a donation bad from Schoola. You send in your old clothes (women’s and children’s) and turn it into money for your school! They do school fundraisers too! I need to talk to some of the other PTO moms about this. It seems like the idea fundraiser. It’s easy, helps you clean out all that old stuff and you don’t have to sell wrapping paper to all your relatives!
All totaled I came up with a value of $79.71 for the August 2015 The Boodle Box. I just love this box! They are so creative and do a fabulous job sticking with age-appropriate, but still super cool items!

I was just looking at those face masks at Target. They sell them individually in the cosmetic section. Ill have to go back and get one!
Hi Jennifer! I love reading your reviews and your blog in general makes me smile at least a few times a week. I want to comment on my experience w Schoola. I absolutely LOVED the idea of my child’s school getting some benefit from donating my child’s clothes. I first purchased some items to see what the “standards” for the clothes were like – I got some nice dresses for my 3rd grader for not a lot of money. So I requested a donation bag and stuffed it full of very nice, well taken care of clothes that had been out grown and some even still with tags. I waited 3 weeks and did not see any of the items I sent for sale. I emailed and was told it may take a couple weeks longer for them to sort, price and photograph items. Another 3 weeks and I saw 5 items, sort of the most common of what I sent: a skirt, leggings. t-shirts. You can find items donated to benefit your school easily by using the search. I contacted Schoola by email 3 more times to ask about the process, I got 2 different answers putting me off and then nothing. They don’t actually send any $$ to your school unless they sell a minimum amount and the proceeds from the sales exceeds $25. Bottom line is I don’t know what they did with the bag full of clothes I sent (I wish I had taken pictures) and because they could never give me a reasonable answer, I got a very bad feeling about what they are professing to do with donated clothes. I too, wanted to get my PTA on board. I thought it was a great idea. This was my experience a year ago and I will never purchase from or donate to them again.
