July 2015 From the Lab

From the Lab sends you up to three full-sized luxury beauty selections each month. They work with the top cosmetic labs in the world to bring you small, limited lab runs of the most innovative beauty products up to 18 months before they’re in retail stores. So not only do you get to try them WAY before anyone else, you get them for $19.95/month (plus S/H).

This is actually the first box they have sent out since February (I believe) and I had actually thought they were totally done.  I’m not really clear where they have been or why boxes haven’t been shipping, but it appears that they are back.  They included a little card in each box thanking subscribers for their patience and giving everyone 2500 points ($25) to spend in the From the Lab shop.

The Box

From the Lab ships via USPS.  I believe this was the July box, but it’s possible this was the August shipment.

First Look

Sometimes From the Lab has included 3-4 products in their boxes and sometimes (like this month), there is just one item.

The Information Card

The July 2015 From the Lab included the following:

~Essential Face Serum No. 640: The serum this month helps firm and reshape your skin, reduces dark circles and puffiness, evens out skin tine, minimizes fine lines and wrinkles and provides luxurious hydration.  And you just need two drops of it per day.  Meaning it will last forever!  I haven’t been using it long enough to see if it works, but I have my fingers crossed for fantastic results.

Essential Face Serum No. 640

According to the information card, this serum has a value of $90+. I don’t know if I would spend $90+ on it, but I believe it.  Serums are expensive!

Am I the only one who thinks this sub is kind of odd? I just can’t imagine a cosmetic company paying From the Lab a large amount of money to formulate a product only to have it sold as a generic label brand before the item even hits retail? Wouldn’t companies want their exclusive formulas to be just that?

That being said, I would love a 2 drop serum to do all that is claimed!

(They are not accepting new subscribers at this time.)

I hope they weren’t charging people since February…and 6 months later you get one item?? No thanks.
