Today I’m Smiling Because…
~It’s Saturday and it’s one of the last weekends before school starts!
~Baxter and Buddy can always (well, most always) make me smile. Baxter makes sure that no matter what time it is or where I am, that I am not alone. He’s the sweetest. And Buddy makes sure, that no matter what time it is or how soundly we are all sleeping that he barks if he sees ANYTHING. Anything at all. A cat, a bird, a car, a person walking, anything ;).
~I dyed my hair red! Well sort of red. I did a mix of L’Oreal Feria “Midnight Ruby” and “Chocolate Cherry”. My mom sent me a picture that someone had posted using those colors so I figured why not? I’ve never mixed color before, but I am pretty happy with the results.
~L had a super fun outdoor movie night last night. They watched Planes: Fire & Rescue, had their own little concession stand and treat bags and pillows and blankets. It was like going to the drive-in, but without cars.
~We had such a nice time at B’s work event this week. And I didn’t know it before we got there, but they had a petting farm with the same animals from the fair we went to last week. Yes, I recognized them ;).
~He’s typically smiling too and is always always up for a trip to Target. Or Starbucks. Love him!

Oh my gosh your hair looks so insanely good and very “fallish”! I box dye my hair at home too and I’ve never tried mixing colors either.

Thanks! I literally just mixed them together. I made them both separate and then mixed them! I have NO IDEA if this is the proper way to do it, but it worked! I just applied like normal.

Your hair looks amazing! I have always wondered about Feria – typically I won’t use box color because it leaves the hair so flat, but I love how shiny yours turned out! I’m naturally dark blonde so those colors won’t work for me but may just take a trip to the CVS today to see what colors they have for me.
