Little Lace Box is a subscription service that delivers hand-curated, nearly impossible-to-find designer products directly to your doorstep every other month. Boxes will be brimming with high-end, brand name beauty, lifestyle, and home product samples to treat yourself to and dazzle your friends during your next night out. They now also offer Serendipity by Little Lace Box. It’s $9.99/bi-monthly, but is currently FREE if you have a LLB subscription. Serendipity by LLB will be sent out every other month (on the off months of the Little Lace Box) and includes five to seven sample size (sometimes full-size) items that don’t have any theme attached at all, just great little finds that LLB wanted to share.
The July Serendipity by LLB was actually shipped in the same box as the August Little Lace Box. Obviously this is not how it’s supposed to happen, but they still have some kinks to work out (which is why it’s currently free to LLB subscribers).
The information card does a little explaining about why the July Serendipity by LLB shipment was late (there was a vendor issue that led to having to secure new items that led to needing new packaging). Here is what was included in the July package:
~Get Dirty Mud Bar by Mindful Minerals ($4): You can use this soap on your face or body and it’s supposed to reduce age spots and hyper pigmentation. It’s made from mud from the Dead Sea and while I don’t usually use a bar soap on my face, I am tempted by this one. It’s fairly inexpensive and I like that!
~Steep & Go by The Tea Spot ($5.95): As you know I don’t like tea, but even I must admit that this is pretty slick. You can use it on disposable water bottles to make cold brewed iced tea in just ten minutes. I think my cousin (who gets all my teas) is going to love this!
~Chill Out Organic Loose Leaf Tea ($1.29) & Malibu C Miracle Repair Hair Constructor ($3): The tea is (obviously) for the above steeper and I clearly should have put those two in the picture together. Oh well! The Miracle Repair is deep conditioning treatment for your hair to restore shine, strength and volume. I just dyed my hair and am trying to make the color last so I am not sure I want to use this one just yet. Soon though.
~Evite Cards ($5): I absolutely love these “Thanks” cards. I always want to order die-cut cards, but they are usually so expensive so I never do. I love that these were included in here!
All totaled I came up with a value of about $20 for the July 2015 Serendipity by LLB. My package also included a Lip Gloss by OFRA Cosmetics ($12.95), but that wasn’t on the information card (and it was an item we received in the May Serendipity) so I didn’t include it in the value. I just considered it to be a fun bonus!

That leave-in treatment did NOTHING for my hair… might have even left it worse off… I definitely had to use my regular conditioner after it to get the tangles out. It had the consistency of a serum so I should’ve known better.
I agree! It didn’t even soften my hair, and it actually made it more tangly than usual.
Disappointed I didn’t get the lip gloss, but after this box, I’ve already cancelled LLB. I haven’t liked the last three boxes, so it was time to throw in the towel.
I agree not my favorite conditioning treatment but nice to try. I also didn’t receive the lipgloss or any extra item. It rubs me the wrong way when some people receive an extra item and others don’t. I ve been an LLB fan for a long time but I m sad to see that are no longer including the handwritten notes and extra special touches in the boxes.
I didn’t get the lipgloss either but it seems like people who do reviews online did? If that’s the case, that’s a silly thing to do since everyone else will be wondering where theirs is! In any event, I didn’t like the color when I received it in the previous Serendipity Box so I really didn’t need another.
I’m really confused by this box–I didn’t have an note for the P&P theme, which further confused me. I had the June insert instead. I loved the last couple of boxes, but this one, I don’t get it. It was supposed to be awesome and well put together, but that meant there were only 2 or 3 items in my box if it also included the serendipity box….*confused*
The tea diffuser is so clever! I love it. And it fits multiple sizes by flipping it.
I got the Steep & Go diffuser and an entire box of tea packets (12) to use with it in the June Tea Box Express. I was pretty excited until I actually used it. The diffuser did not strain out all the itty bitty tea leaves so I kept getting a mouth full of what felt like dirt. I didn’t care for the tea either. Blech. And I LOVE tea. Oh, well, good try.
I can’t seem to get the tea diffuser to fit on my bottle…anyone else have this problem?
