Yogi Surprise is a monthly care package designed to complement your healthy lifestyle. Within each Yogi Surprise you’ll receive 6-8 full size products ranging from unique yoga accessories and natural beauty items to herbal tonics, organic snacks and super food essentials. One subscriber per month will also win that month’s Yogi Surprise retreat.
Yogi Surprise ships via USPS Priority Mail in the first half of the month and, once shipped, generally takes just two days to arrive to me. I think this month took a wrong turn somewhere along the way because it took longer than that.
The first look wasn’t overly exciting. I really couldn’t see much of anything in it though.
The August 2015 Yogi Surprise theme was “Honoring the Fire Within” and included the following items:
~Jem Raw & Organic Cinnamon Red Maca ($2.99): This spread works on toast or straight from the jar and contains sprouted almonds, cinnamon and energizing maca. It’s definitely different. Honestly I thought it had pumpkin in it. It was better than expected, but I wouldn’t want a ton of it.
~Neelu Kaur Yogini Bliss ($28): This roll-on is described as an enchanting scent fused with rose, natural vanilla, ylang-ylang, Mandarin, Amyris, geranium, cinnamon and cardamon oils. The ylang-ylang is what I picked up first, but I could smell the vanilla as it dried.
~SunBiotics Chocolate Almonds ($3.50): Not bad! I had a few of these before dinner and found them to be satisfying and tasty. They are organic, raw, gluten-free and made from non-dairy products.
~Aura Cacia Revive Body Cloths ($3.79): I’d call these baby wipes for grown ups. They work to wipe down your yoga mat or your face / body after class. I don’t carry baby wipes with me anymore, so I know these will come in very handy!
~African Turquoise Bracelet ($20): I am always a fan of the jewelry Yoga Surprise sends out and this is no exception. The stone turquoise brings the wearer protection and transmits water energy to facilitate the flow of one’s energy. It’s stretchy too, so it will fit everyone’s wrists.
~My Tat Inspiring Temp Tattoos (Per Yogi Surprise: $20, Per My Estimation: $10): Wait, what? $20 for a set of 5 tattoos? That seems quite steep. I checked on the website and you can get two of each of the exact same tattoos for $20. So really this is $10. I also think that’s steep, but better than $20!
~Yogi Surprise Yoga Sequence Series Card: This limited edition card is designed to power up your core and increase your stamina.
All totaled I came up with a value of $68.28 for the August 2015 Yogi Surprise box. Overall I thought it was a solid box, but not my favorite box from them. I have noticed that some of their prices (for this box and others) are slightly higher than the ones I have found online, so it’s always best to double check if you are wondering about one!

Cinnamon red maca almond spread!!!! It tasted like a warm cinnamon cookie. As i tasted it my son stuck in his finger and started to fight me for more and my daughter walked away and returned a clean jar. I had to order more!!! It was a fall/winter delight for us.
This box was a bit of a bummer. I do love my oils. But over all there always seems to be an item or two that the value is just over inflated. That annoys me. Id rather a lower value on the card than a rediculous fake one. Thats my mini rant. But i still get somethings in the box i love so sticking with it.
This was my last box. It just seems like a lot of their items are the same.
