BuddhiBox does a great job picking out both unique and useful yoga items so it’s always fun to open up this box.
The September 2015 BuddhiBox included the following items:
~Rickaroons – Vegan Macaroons ($3): These macaroons are delicious. They are 100% organic, soy-free, gluten-free and paleo-friendly. They are chocolately, but you don’t feel bad about eating them because they are healthy!
~No Sweat Laundry Detergent (4 Loads) ($6): I don’t know about your house, but there are times here that the laundry gets done and some of the sweaty clothes that had been sitting in the laundry basket still smell. And then they need to be washed again. I am very hopeful that this works. I don’t wish this often, but I wish I had some sweaty clothes to wash right now.
~Co Pur Hair Mask (7oz) ($22): You can use this on your hair and skin which I found curious. I am going to use it strictly as a hair mask. Apply it for up to 20 minutes and then rinse out. It smells very spa-like.
~Ease Up Headache Relief Rollerball – Essential Nest (10mL) ($12.99): This works on stress headaches which I don’t get a ton of anymore (thank goodness), but the next one I get I will be reaching for this. Right now most of the headaches I have been getting are because of the changing of the seasons. This is made with all-natural ingredients and high-quality oils, is chemical free and doesn’t have any animal testing. Sounds perfect!
~Spice Blend Packet – Ground 2 Table ($2): Ground 2 Table sells waste-free single use packets that are always fresh. The idea is to buy only what will serve you which helps growers avoid overproduction and unnecessary waste. It’s salt-free, sugar-free, GMO-free and certified organic. I think the idea behind this is nice, but doesn’t it create more waste by tossing these single serve packets in the trash so often?
~Snack Pouches – Love Reusable Bags ($11.95): Love these! I have been trying to pick fun snacks for L for school and will be using these bags for them. They are dishwasher safe (YES) and have velcro to seal them. The pattern is awesome and could be used by anyone in the family which is awesome too.
~1 Month Gift Card – Yoga Anytime ($18): The box also included a one-month membership to Yoga anytime which streams world-class yoga workouts.
All totaled the September 2015 BuddhiBox had a value of $75.94. I really enjoyed this month’s box. The products were unique and thoughtful, but at the same time everything was very usable and practical!

The idea behind Ground 2 Table is not to minimize waste. The idea is to Buy Small/ Use it All. At the core of this revolution is the principle of only buying to the best of our ability what we will eat. The average family of four throws away in the neighborhood of $300 of food a month. We chose spices as our starting point because they can be added to almost any meal or snack and people generally don’t understand spices. As it is with anything aromatic, the longer it sits on a shelf after being opened, the more potency is lost. With Ground 2 Table spices you have a single use blend that can add zest to a sandwich on the go, make popcorn varied and interesting and turn basic meals into flavorful feasts. So, the true waste is in the spice cabinet or pantry – $100’s of useless, denigrated worthless old spices that add nothing to your life. Be adventurous – Join the Buy Small/ Use it All revolution!
