I love the packaging that Yogi Surprise uses.  The purple box is always fun to see in the mailbox.

The Information Card

The September 2015 Yogi Surprise theme was “Rooting to Transcend” and included the following items:

~Urban Moonshine Joy Tonic Spray (1fl.oz / 30mL) ($9.99): I can’t really say that I am a fan of mouth sprays. It’s said to support the nervous system, restore a positive mental attitude and promote a relaxed feeling. I didn’t think the spray tasted like much and it takes a while to “build” (aka work), so I can’t give too many more details on it. I do know it will be hard to stick with a mouth spray for me though.

~Big Dipper Wax Works Citronella Tea Lights ($8): Citronella candles are always useful, but the scent has never been one of my favorites. These are all natural and are made from beeswax, soy wax, and the purest essential oils. I may end up putting these away fro next summer when the bugs are at their worst.

~All Good Coconut Sunstick ($7.99): Sunscreen sticks are awesome for fall / winter. They can be used all over, but are recommended for your face, ears, nose, etc. On a lot of fall days around here that’s the only part that needs sunscreen because everything else is all covered up!

~Philosophie Vegan Superfood Blends (Berry Bliss) (2oz) ($7.50): This can be mixed with yogurt, added to your smoothie or tossed in a dry batter, like for pancakes, cookies, waffles, etc. It packs more vitamin C than 10 oranges, more protein than an egg, more antioxidants than 10 cups of green tea, and more vitamin A than a cup of lettuce! Sounds like a dream come true!

~Gaiam Yoga Mat Sling ($9.98): This isn’t super exciting, but it’s very useful. It can also be used as a yoga strap if you are in a pinch during practice.

~Molly Muriel Handcrafted Bar Soap (Sweet & Rosy) ($6): This handcrafted soap is 100% vegan and smells amazing. I have been using bar soap more and more lately and have been loving how it makes my skin feel.

~Caveman Cookies ($4): Caveman Cookies have been in a few boxes in the past and I am always surprised by how good they are. They are all natural and are made with just honey, almond meal, walnuts, raisins, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon.

All totaled I came up with a value of $53.46 for the September 2015 Yogi Surprise.  I’m just meh on this one.  The value was fairly low, but on the bright side, all of the prices they noted on the information card agree with prices I found online (this isn’t always the case) which makes me happy.

Im happy to have a mat sling now. I like the brand of the joy tonic. I really loved the energy one so much from a past box that i had ordered more.
I always wonder with these boxes how they keep coming up with ideas for new thungs each month. There is only so much yoga related stuff out there. But the last three or so boxes have been very blah to me. I almost think its more economical to stop subbing and just order or swap for the things id be interested in now.
I sub to the the jewelry box as well. I am due to receive it tmrw. Its time for me to stop now. I have way too much jewelry.
