International Blessings, who kindly sent me this Box of Blessings to review, states that their mission is to empower 3rd world artisans by selling and promoting their handmade products, which then helps to create sustainable livelihoods and eliminate poverty around the world. Each Box of Blessings will have 3-4 pieces of jewelry or other handcrafted products made by impoverished people around the world.
Box of Blessings ships via USPS during the first week of the month and are only available to those in the US.
Box of Blessings always sends jewelry, but I wasn’t sure what was hiding in the other packages!
The November 2015 Box of Blessings included the following products made in India:
~Matr Boomie Tree of Life Earrings: I don’t “do” dangly earrings, but that’s just a personal preference. I do, however, love the design on these and want to try and figure out how to turn them into wineglass charms or something along those lines.
~Rose Sandalwood Scents of India Soap: This soap is different. I am not in love with the scent, but I think the clearness (is that a word) of it is really neat. One note – this was manufactured in 10/2013 and expires 3 years after mfg. date (aka 10/2016), so don’t put this in the close for too long.
~Ornate Brass Ring: This is a funky ring! I like it though! It’s open in the back so you can make it fit on any size finger. I like the idea of it on a thumb.
