Loot Crate is a monthly subscription box full of hand-picked, awesome geek and gamer products. Each month, for less than $20, you’ll receive 6-8 products which are guaranteed to have a value of $30 or more.
Loot Crate ships via FedEx Smart Post and took about a week to arrive. You can expect to receive this box around the 20th of the month.
I love that Loot Crate prints the inside of their boxes to match the theme for the month.
The November 2015 Loot Crate theme was “Combat” and included the following items:
~Exclusive Cute But Deadly Magnet Set (Blizzard Entertainment) & Cute But Deadly Vinyl Figures (Blizzard Entertainment): I have to say, I am not at all familiar with Cute But Deadly? I asked L and he didn’t know either. He doesn’t play any of those games, so I’m not sure why I thought he would? Anyway, he thinks they are cool though and put them in his room.
~TMNT Shredder Sunglasses by H2W: I have no idea if anyone would actually wear these as sunglasses, but we got a kick out of them here. WB was cracking up when he got a look at himself in the mirror.
~Exclusive Street Fighter Hyper Looting Comic Book by CAPCOM and The Hunger Games MockingJay Part 2 Pin: I need to flip through this comic book and make sure it’s not totally inappropriate for L, but I think he’ll love it. The Hunger games pin is a prop replica of the tribute token worn by Katniss Everdeen in the series final installment.
~Exclusive Fallout 4 Vault Boy Bobble Head: This is a Loot Crate exclusive and easily my favorite item in the box. It *think* you can buy other bobble heads like this, but you won’t find any with this pose.
~Loot Crate Gift Tags: These aren’t listed in the information book, but I know that I was wondering what they were when I saw the spoiler pictures so I wanted to post about them. They are Loot Crate gift tags. If you are giving the gift of loot or gifting a Loot Crate exclusive item you can use these!
This wasn’t one of my favorite Loot Crate boxes, but that’s really just because it didn’t have any items that we are totally into around here! Hopefully next month is a better fit for us.
