Mommy Mailbox subscription boxes are carefully curated to make all mom’s lives better, easier and sweeter. Boxes contain products which typically retail for between $55-$75 and each box contains 4-6 surprise gifts that change each month.

Mommy Mailbox ships via USPS during the first week of the month (or the last few days of the previous month). I never get a shipping notice on this one, it just appears in my mailbox.

Second First Look

I actually tried to peek at spoilers for this one late last night, but I came up empty handed.  The first and second looks didn’t give me any idea what was in here either!

The Information Card

The November 2015 Mommy Mailbox theme was “Gather” and was curated by Kirsten Krason and Erin Morgan at House of Jade Interiors.  The box included the following items:

~Mood Candle Co. Bliss Candle ($18): The Bliss scent has notes of orange blossom, vanilla, tonka bean and amber.  It’s a gorgeous scent and I can really pick up each of the notes in it.  The amber isn’t too strong but it’s enough.  The candle was hand poured in Brooklyn and was made with 100% natural waxes, lead free cotton wicks and all recycled or recyclable materials.

~Match Box by Wooster and Prince (~$5): I never actually use boxes matches, but I love having them.  This is a gorgeous box to display on a try with your candles and “things”.

~Mousepad by Caitlin Wilson ($14): As luck would have it, I actually needed a new mousepad. I used to use a trackpad, but it went all crazy on me so I am back to my mouse.  And now I have this adorable mousepad!

~Formulary 55 Shea Butter Soap (Sweet Pea and Clover) ($5): Sweet Pea and Clover is described as “a delicate floral fragrance, one of the softest and most feminine florals we make, with a bit of berry and green clover added to the mix”.  It’s their 2oz side and is called a guest bathroom soap.  It smells incredible and will be in my guest bathroom.

~MixBin Ear Buds ($11.99): Who doesn’t need a fresh pair of earbuds.  They get gross, I lose them, B steals them, whatever.  These have a microphone built in and come in their own handy little case.  I found them to be quite comfortable and thought they stayed in my ears nicely.

~amwell Offer: The box also included a free code to use at amwell.  It’s an app you can use to visit a doctor, therapist or nutritionist anytime you need it.  I haven’t used it yet, but I am guessing it’s like Dr. on Demand?  I love these services and think they are SO handy for when you just have an ear infection or something easy that you don’t want to wait in a doctors waiting room to take care of.

All totaled I came up with a value of $53.99 for the November 2015 Mommy Mailbox.  It’s not the most “valuable” subscription out there, but it’s always well curated and included products I’d pick out for myself (if I knew about them anyway).  I have said it before, but I feel like they need to change their name because this SO isn’t a box for just moms!  I actually feel like I should move it from the “Baby / Mom” section to the “Lifestyle” section of my Subscription Box List because that’s really more what it is.
