Today I’m Smiling Because…
~B made it home safe and sound. We are pretty used to him being gone (as you know he travels quite often for work), but it’s always better to have everyone under one roof.
~The boys have been playing extra nice together lately. I have to make W wait in the morning because he always wants to wake L up so they can play more.
~I am revamping (well, just adding to) the subscription box list, and I am super happy with how it’s coming along. I am making a big spreadsheet listing subscription box names, categories, prices, frequency and (eventually) descriptions. It’s still super rough, and I don’t have all the boxes added (which is why you will see blank lines when you sort), but feel free to check it out if you are interested.
~B picked us all out fun goodies from his trip. I got a coffee mug from his hotel (hello best hotel freebie ever) and the amenities from his flight (he knows I like that kind of stuff). The boys both got Kinder Surprise Eggs (W is obsessed with the chocolate) and L got a cool 3-D Batman puzzle while W got some toy cars.
~After a few rough games, it looks like Michigan State is back on track!
~We watched The Intern last night, and I loved it!
~I painted two tables in my living room this week and think I am ready to tackle my bedroom furniture this weekend. B is game, so we are going to pick up some more chalk paint today. I can’t wait!

It’s not one that you can do daily entries on. It’s hosted by Kawaii Box, not me. Usually you have to wait 24 full hours before entering again though.

The tables are really nice! What color/stain were they before you painted them?
They were black. Like a black wood? Or wood painted black? Something like that!

You brave, brave soul… painting your bedroom set… with your husband!! That is something I would definitely have to get my SIL to help me with, or just do for me, I wish I had that kind of patience!
