~Good evening! It’s cold here! Brr! The boys went to the movies today (and saw Norm of the North), but other than that it’s been a pretty good weekend to stay home. I got my closet basically cleaned out and need to start on my dresser next. I don’t know where I was planning on going in some of those clothes I had in there? Geez. I would love to start thinning out the kid’s toys as well, but I may have to save that for next weekend because that is going to be a project.
~Did you see that Lego wall in the last episode of Fixer Upper? How awesome was that? Has anyone tried something similar at home? I think it looks so cool. I love their storage idea too, but I am totally wondering how all those Legos actually stayed in the baskets attached to the wall? It seems like they’d all fall out the bottom / sides no? Regardless I know want to make a lego wall.
~Does anyone have any movie recommendations? I want to watch something that B wouldn’t want to watch, so maybe like a chick flick? I have been overloading on old Sex in the City episodes at night and need a change!
~I mentioned last week that I have been thinking about painting some of my furniture white and someone mentioned chalk paint. I looked into it and yeah, that’s totally what I need! I considered picking up some Anne Sloan Chalk Paint, but opted instead to order this Renaissance Chalk Furniture & Cabinet Paint from Amazon. No real reason other than it gets good reviews and doesn’t require me to go on a trek to pick it up. I am going to start with the wood IKEA coffee table we have and see what happens. I’ll post before and afters.
~I am going to spend some time updating the subscription box list tonight, so if you know if any boxes that need to be removed / added, please let me know!
That’s it from here. I hope you are having a great Sunday night!!!
