Loot Crate is a monthly subscription box full of hand-picked, awesome geek and gamer products. Each month, for less than $20, you’ll receive 6-8 products which are guaranteed to have a value of $30 or more.
Loot Crate ships via FedEx Smart Post and took about a week to arrive. You can expect to receive this box around the 20th of the month.
I had checked out spoilers for this one so I knew what to expect, but opening boxes is always more fun than looking at spoilers.
In addition to product information, the booklet that comes along with Loot Crate also includes fun extras like puzzles, articles relating to the theme, trivia, interviews, etc. The February 2016 Loot Crate theme was “Dead” and included the following items:
~Exclusive Deadpool Q-Fig Figure (Quantum Mechanix): Subscribers received either an exclusive Deadpool figure (like I did) or an exclusive Deadpool X-Force Variant edition. This is probably one of the coolest figures we’ve received from Loot Crate. At least I think so anyway. You can shine a light through the back and check out the details through the cool translucent base.
~Exclusive Deadpool Tacos T-Shirt (Fifth Sun):LOL! This shirt cracked me up. I think Deadpool and I have the same taste in food because I too like tacos, flapjacks and chimichangas!
~Exclusive The Walking Dead Big Head Figure Construction Set (McFarlane Toys): I had a heck of a time getting this together (the information book says they are easy to assemble but I don’t know about that), but once I did I was super impressed by the detail and how cool it was. For something so small, the amount of detail in this was amazing. My SIL loves The Walking Dead and she will love this on her desk!
~Exclusive The Walking Dead Soap-On-A-Rope (A Crowded Coop): These were designed as a replica of Daryl’s ear from season 2’s “Chupacabra”episode. They are maybe one of the funniest items I have ever gotten in a subscription box. I am going to put them in the shower for my husband to use and see if my 7 year-old notices or asks why there are ears in our shower. So funny!
~Loot Crate Pin #lootpins: Each Loot Crate box also includes a pin celebrating that month’s theme. I never know what to do with all my pins so I am curious to hear how everyone displays theirs?
I thought the February 2016 Loot Crate was super fun! The products related perfectly to the theme and were just fun in general. This month was a great Loot Crate!

This is an amazing box! Deadpool was a fantastic movie and I would have loved that little figurine. Also, those soap ears are hilarious!
I had signed up for Loot Crate just to get this box (and then I cancelled). There was so much great stuff in this one.
