~Good morning! It’s Winter Break here, and the boys and I are loving sleeping in. Well, L and I are. W doesn’t think it’s quite as fun ;). He did have a ball at Toys R Us the other day, though. The boys had some gifts cards to spend and took their shopping very seriously. W was very impressed with their selection of Paw Patrol toys. Way better than Target 😉
~Speaking of Target, it’s Valentine’s clearance time! Stores are 70% off right now and should be 90% off in a day or so. Â I picked up a doormat, a banner, a pillow, some towels and some legos, but that’s about it so far. Â Oh, I got a heart-shaped cupcake / muffin tin too. I am *trying* to wait till 90% off because there is nothing I “need”. Â If you want to see what’s all part of the clearance, head over to Fyndly! Â They have pictures of everything, and you can click to see the price and see there are any in stock at your store. Â The in-stock quantities can be a little off, but I think it’s super helpful.
~Does anyone else here use PINCHme? Â I don’t use it on a regular basis, but when I do remember, I love it. Â If you have never used it, it’s a free sampling site. Â They let you sign up to receive free samples based on your profile, and then you review them on their site. Â It’s usually just a few at a time, but it’s still fun. I got this box yesterday with dog food, lotion and ZzzQuil.
~It’s been a slow subscription box week so far, but I am expecting a ton of boxes in the next few days. Â I should still be getting LaRitzy, Â ipsy, BOXYCHARM, Kiwi Crate / Doodle Crate, Koala Crate, Beautycon BFF, Kloverbox, Boxwalla Food, BattlBox, Bocandy, Phone Case of the Month and a couple of others. Â It’s should be a fun few days!
~My latest thredUP order arrived yesterday! I love them.  I much prefer buying stuff from them as opposed to selling items (they don’t pay a ton when you sell your clothing to them) though. I try to buy only high(er) end brands from them.  Like CrewCuts, Hanna Andersson, Mini Boden, etc.  I can find GAP stuff on super clearance for less than some of the prices for used items on ThredUp, so it’s just not worth it to me. I didn’t realize it when I was adding these to my cart, but they are all hoodies ;).

I went to Target yesterday just to look through the clearance stuff! Our store was pretty well stocked. I got one of the tan flag banners that says “Put a lot of love in your heart”, the gold X & O banner (which I had been eyeing since I saw it in the store–love it! I think I now have a Target banner for almost every holiday…may be missing Christmas), and some gift bags. I reallllly wanted the kitchen towels, table runner, and placemats that they had been selling, but I didn’t see any of those. Oh well, definitely not a need! I never cared about Target clearance until I saw on your site how awesome it was. Thanks for introducing me! 😀
Ohh, I actually got one of those flag / banners too. I forgot about that. I have been looking at them every trip, but didn’t want to pay full price. Now for 70% off, I was like get in my cart. I saw table runners / kitchen towels in the regular aisle – on an end cap. They were not in the clearance section at my store.
Your Target is sooooo much better then ours! Went yesterday and valentines clearance is still at 30% and 50%. Nothing nice…just leftovers. Our store never reaches 75% because they donate it all to our local Goodwill and then they re-sell it for the same price.
Have you ever purchased a handbag from Thred-Up? Some of their items are pricey for used! ?
We just have so many Targets around here. Lots to pick from!

I got two PinchMe boxes on the same day this week. Both had dry cat food (the same kind), ZZQuil (which i did not request because it is not vegetarian), and wet cat food (two different kinds). Well, the cat food will get used anyway.
The only thing I don’t like about PinchMe is that it takes forever to come. Like an entire month, sometimes more. But it’s free so it’s no biggie. Somehow, I managed to be added to the list of early pinchers I guess, since I’ve snagged the last few the Monday before sample Tuesday.
Do your kids go to year round school? It seems late for winter break!
I need to clean out my closet, I got invited to a clothing swap this weekend. First time, hope it’s a success. Then hopefully a day trip to sedona this weekend too.

No, they don’t go to year round school (although I love the concept). They also don’t get out till mid-June though. And we get a week off for Spring Break in April too!!!

I told myself I wasn’t going to go to Target, but I caved and went yesterday. My Target is always cleaned out, so the time to buy is at 70% off. If I wait until 90% off there won’t be anything left. I got:
-a wreath
-robot placemats an child’s plate
-wooden puzzles
-iPhone 5 cases
-gift bags
-race cars
I love the doormat! Wish i could have snagged one of those. Good finds!
Have you already received your Hampton’s Lane box for this month yet? I saw on your old reviews that they usually ship the second half of the month but your reviews are usually posted 11-15th of the month. I still haven’t gotten a shipping confirmation and I’m getting antsy for my first box. Thanks!!
I have not received mine! They used to send them out to reviewers early, but that didn’t happen this month. I probably won’t get mine until the end of the month. I don’t believe it has shipped yet.
