Yogi Surprise is a monthly care package designed to complement your healthy lifestyle. Within each Yogi Surprise, you’ll receive 6-8 full-size products ranging from unique yoga accessories and natural beauty items to herbal tonics, organic snacks and super food essentials. One subscriber per month will also win that month’s Yogi Surprise retreat.
Yogi Surprise ships via USPS Priority Mail in the first half of the month and, once shipped, generally takes just two days to arrive to me.
The March 2016 Yogi Surprise theme was “Creating Space” and included the following items:
~Gypsy Soul Organics Rosey Yogi Mat Cleaner ($9.99): This eco-clean organic mat cleaner contains rose, lavender, peppermint, purified water, vinegar and their special organic essential oil blend. I don’t absolutely love the smell, but if it gets the mat clean then it’s a win.
~derma e Microdermabrasion Scrub ($8.13): This stuff has a bit of a lemony smell to it and works great. It’s designed to be used 2x/week and provides “spa-like results” at home. I would agree with that. It’s also 100% vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, mineral oil-free, lanolin-free, gluten-free and GMO-free.
~Taylor’s Pure & Natural Herbal Pulling Oil Rinse (Mint 2oz) ($7.50): This rinse uses the oil to draw out toxins from the mouth & bloodstream. There are a ton of things it is supposed to help with including overall oral health, teeth whitening, preventing cavatities, etc.
~The Little Red Book of Yoga Wisdom ($10): The Little Red Book of Yoga Wisdom gives some history on the origins of Yoga, quotes answering the question “What is Yoga”, definitions of yoga styles, etc. It’s basically everything you wanted to know about Yoga!
~Simply7 Lentil Chips ($3): Lentil chips delicious. They have just the right amount of salt to satisfy cravings and are gluten-free, non-GMO, vegan, kosher and contain no trans-fats or artifical colors or flavors.
~Pranayums Ayurvedic Super Spice Drink (7-Day Supply) ($10): I certainly appreciate the uniqueness of this item, but I don’t know that it will become a routine for me. Maybe if I drank smoothies in the morning and could just pop these in?
~Better Life Stain and Odor Eliminator (2oz) ($3): This pure & natural stain and odor eliminator is made with 100% plant derived cleaning agents. It’s eucalyptus and lemongrass scented and works great in your gym bag or even in your purse.
~Healthforce Nutritionals Spirulina Manna VeganTabs ($3.95): Meh. For some reason I find vitamins or supplements of this nature to be an odd pick for (most) subscription boxes. I am sure some people love getting them, but they just aren’t for me. This is supposed to be used as a substitute for protein powders and contains all eight essential amino acids.
All totaled I came up with a value of $55.57 for the March 2016 Yogi Surprise. I would say this was one of more unqiue boxes I have received from them, but it wasn’t one of my all time favorites.
What do you think of Yogi Surprise? If you are interested in signing up or just want to learn more, click here and use the coupon code “LOVEYOURSELF” or “GRATITUDE” to save 20% off per month for the LIFE of your subscription. Also, it looks like they are offering a FREE Seva Amazon Rainforest Body Oil in your first box right now. I can’t find an expiration date on the offer, but I would imagine it’s only valid as long as you see it on the sign-up page. Once it’s no longer on the page anymore, I’d assume the deal is done.
