I absolutely love Mommy Mailbox and I can never wait to see what their boxes will include.  I mention it every month, but don’t be scared away by the name of this one. It’s NOT just for moms.

The May 2016 Mommy Mailbox was curated by Lauren Bowyer (@Laurenbowyer on Instagram, Vimeo and Pinterest).  The box contained the following items:

~Crystal Necklace – Mommy Mailbox Exclusive: This necklace was created by a group of artists just for Mommy Mailbox! It on an 18-inch chain and has an adjustable closure so you can get a little extra length if you need it.  I think it’s gorgeous and I like the sparkle it gives off when the light hits it.

~Thank You Cards by Hand Lettered Design: These cards (subscribers received a set of 4) were custom designed for Mommy Mailbox.  They can be used to show appreciation to those who spoiled you for Mother’s Day or pretty much anything else. I think they will be nice for end of the year teacher cards.

~Volumizing Blow Dry Spray by Briogeo ($20): This spray extends the life of your blowout by making hair appear thicker and fuller.  It’s supposed to be used on damp hair, pre blow-dry, but I used it on my hair dry and found it gave me some nice texture and without making my hair stiff.  It’s free of parabens, synthetic fragrances and dyes as well.

~Old Fashioned Hard Candy by Quin Candy ($5): B always makes fun of me, but I love hard candies. Love them. These are actually a little too big (about half the size would be perfect), but they are amazing.

~Nail Lacquer by Dip Beauty (Escape from Santorini) ($10): It sounds like a variety of Spring shades are being sent out, but I received Escape To Santorini which is white.  It wouldn’t have been my first choice, but I will use it under some of my lighter polishes as a base coat.  Dip polishes are Free of formaldehyde, dibutylphthalate (DBP), formaldehyde resin, toluene, and camphor and are designed for long-lasting shine.

I couldn’t find prices for everything online, but I really enjoyed this month’s Mommy Mailbox.  I’m going to say it again, but seriously, don’t be scared away by the “Mommy” in the name of this one! It’s just a great lifestyle box!
