I love the packaging on Beautycon BFF boxes!

The Summer 2016 Beautycon BFF box was curated by beauty connoisseur Kandee Johnson and included the following:

~Benzac Acne Solution – Blemish Clearing Hydrator (1oz) ($11.99): This hydrator is a “lightweight moisturizing serum that improves skin texture by hydrating and reducing excess oil”.  It’s ideal if you have acne prone skin (like I do) because not only does it not cause acne, it’s going to make your skin better.

~Cover FX – Contour Brush ($38): This has a placement brush on one side and a blending brush on the other. I wasn’t sure what a “placement” brush was used for, but I guess it’s used to sweep product into the highlights and contours of the face.  I think I am going to need some You Tube videos!

~Garnier SkinActive – Clearly Brighter Daily Skin Moisturizer ($14.99): This moisturizer helps to correct “visible sun-damage, revealing radiant, more even-toned, younger-looking skin”.  I was a little surprised to see another moisturizer in here, but the spoilers did say it was skin care focused.

~La Fresh – Beauty & Personal Care Wipes (~$1): It’s possible there are variations, but I received the “Oil-Free Face Cleanser” and the “Instant Cooling Body Soother”.  I love these for summer and have used them many times in the past.

~Neutrogena – Ultra Light Cleansing Oil ($8.99): This cleansing oil “cleans skin and removes makeup, even waterproof mascara”.  It felt great on my skin and unlike some cleansing oils, I feel like it all came off and didn’t leave my skin feeling oily.

~NYX Ombre Lip Duo ($12): These colors are really bold (scroll down for swatches), but my goodness I love the ombre!  I need to figure out a way to make this liner and lipstick work for me because the packaging is gorgeous.

~NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil ($4.50): This comes in a ton of shades, but I received the gorgeous “Cashmere” which is a Shimmery Cashmere. It’s creamy and easy to use and for the price, you can get a bunch of different shades to play around with.

~Redken Fashion Waves Sea Salt Spray ($19.50): Ohh, I love this! I used it on my hair wet and it didn’t leave it sticky or hard, but it gave my hair some nice texture and some waves.  My hair is super straight and very soft, so it needs something it in to give it some volume.  Also, I want to mention that this smells fabulous!

~Seventeen – The Edit by Seventeen Promo Card: This card gives you 15% off + Free Shipping on Editby17.com.

~Smashbox – Brow Tech Shaping Powder ($25): I feel like 2016 is all about the brows.  Subscription boxes keep sending me brow products and I will admit it’s fun to try them, but I just cannot see myself “doing” my brows daily.  For reference, I think I liked the Benefit brow stuff from this month’s Birchbox better than this Smashbox.

~Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara (o.17oz) ($14.48): Fabulous mascara!  I usually stay away from Waterproof Mascara (I just don’t think it does the same job “regular” mascara does), but this stuff was great!  It lengthened and separated without clumping or flaking.  Also, it took ages to get off ;).

~VersaSpa – Face Moisturizing Gradual Tanner (0.25fl.oz) ($4.38): This gives you a “gradual” tan while also hydrating skin and blurring fine lines.  So far I am happy with the slight (very slight) tan I have gotten from using it.

~Swatches:

All totaled the Summer 2016 Beautycon BFF had a value of $154.83.  That’s an awesome value and how could I not be pleased?

It looks like this box is still available, so if you want to pick one up, head here before it sells out!
