Play! by Sephora is a monthly subscription box program. Each month subscribers will receive a box of deluxe samples, along with an exclusive PLAY! BOOK — packed with helpful advice — and a PLAY! PASS to redeem in store for a free one-on-one learning session with a beauty expert. The six product samples in your PLAY! by SEPHORA box are from the same prestige brands Sephora carries in store and online, and they are sized to use multiple times.
Play! by Sephora ships via USPS. All Play! by Sephora boxes should arrive between the third and fourth week of each month.

The included booklet features product information along with pro tips for each of the items in the box. The June 2016 Play! by Sephora box feature “The Minimalists” and included the following items:
~Bumble and Bumble Don’t Blow It Hair Styler (15mL) ($5): I air-dry my hair all the time, and I am thrilled to get a product specifically designed for it. It “boosts hair’s natural texture and adds bounce”. I didn’t find that it weighed my hair down at all, but it did give it some nice texture.
~Benefit they’re Real Mascara (3g / 0.1oz) ($12): This mascara has popped up in a variety of subscription boxes, and I have always been a fan. It doesn’t clump and isn’t all wet and goopy.
~tarte TARTEGUARD 30 Sunscreen (0.23 fl.oz) ($4.33): This is a non-chemical sunscreen that helps to protect, moisturize, brighten, and re-invigorate skin for a youthful-looking appearance. It’s lightweight and very hydrating!
~BareMinerals BareSkin Sheer Sun Serum Bronzer (0.1fl.oz) ($2.80): I’ve never used a serum bronzer before, and I think I’m in love. A little bit goes a long way, and this is a new favorite product for me.
~Becca Backlight Priming Filter (0.2fl.oz) ($7.60): This is a makeup primer to help “blur imperfections and impart a radiant glow”. It’s formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. It has a bit of a highlight to it, but nothing crazy, it just makes it glow.
~Tocca Florence Perfume (Sample): Tocca Florence has notes of “Italian Bergamot, Grapefruit Leaves, Green Pear, Apple, Ivory Gardenia, Crushed Violet Petals, Jasmine, Tuberose, Blue Iris, Blonde Wood, White Musk”. It’s a nice combination of scents, but I wish the sample was larger.
All totaled I came up with a value of $31.73 for the June 2016 Play! by Sephora. I am happy with that value for a $10 box and am already looking forward to next month!

I’m loving my Sephora boxes, I’m glad I got off the wait list last month and not have a FOMO syndrome. I love how they have monthly video tutorial/unboxings. Plus the monthly Play! Dates are incredible too, the second one is next week in my town. Great review!
