My Birchbox for CEW boxes have arrived! Each year Birchbox pairs up with CEW two special edition boxes. These boxes are a separate purchase from the monthly subscription and are only available while supplies last. This review is on the $15 “Mass Appeal – 2016 Birchbox for CEW” box.

My Birchbox for CEW box shipped via USPS. I purchased both boxes on launch date (July 25th), and they arrived a week later.
Contents of the Birchbox for CEW boxes (I think this is the 4th year of the partnership?) are released in advance, but it’s still always fun to check everything out in person.
The Birchbox for CEW Mass Appeal box included the following items:
~ChapStick® Total Hydration 100% Natural – Soothing Vanilla ($2.99): I can always go for a fresh tube of Chapstick. This is made from 100% natural ingredients including argan and rosehip. It’s hydrating and help to combat signs of aging. It also smells amazing.
~Aveeno® Daily Moisturizing Sheer Hydration Lotion (1fl.oz) (~$0.50): This lotion contains “active naturals colloidal oatmeal” and dries in seconds for a “powder-like feel”.
~Simple Skincare Micellar Cleansing Water (full-size) ($6.69): This cleanser boosts your skin’s hydration while also removing makeup. I am a big fan of cleansing water and am excited to see how this works for my skin. Not having to rinse it off is an added bonus.
~Olay Regenerist Luminous Overnight Mask (full-size) ($25.99): This mask is designed to give you a “bright, healthy complexion by morning”. I used it last night and my skin did feel softer this morning. It’s a moisturizer, but it makes your skin feel dry (which I kind of like at night). Don’t ask me how it works, but it does.
~Biore Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strips (~$2): It looks like boxes were supposed to have two packets of these, but mine just had one. As a sidenote, my July Birchbox was also missing an item. They did send it after contacting them, but I wanted to mention it. I will need to contact them about this because I love pore strips! They suck out dirt, oil and blackheads for the deepest possible clean. Love!!!
All totaled the 2016 Birchbox for CEW Mass Appeal had a value of $38.17. The website promised a $40 value and that’s pretty darn close. I loved all the full-sizes in here and really love these CEW boxes.
