GLOSSYBOX is a monthly beauty subscription box and includes five luxury surprise beauty items shipped to your door.

GLOSSYBOX ships via USPS and generally boxes ship in the second half of the month. Sometimes it’s the last week of the month; sometimes it’s closer to the beginning of the month.

The December GLOSSYBOX box has a “glitzy design” which is “reminiscent of a disco ball.”

The December 2016 GLOSSYBOX included the following products designed to embolden your holiday spirit and keep you party-ready well into January:

~MDMflow Semi-Matte Lipstick in Bossy ($22): This is a semi-matte brownish mauve lipstick.  It’s much prettier than my description, and *almost* looks like it has shimmer in it.  I am not much for lipstick personally, but I think my sister-in-law will go wild for this shade.

~Harajuku Lovers Pop Electric Eau de Parfum Spray by Gwen Stefani ($25): This is the cutest item we have ever received in a GLOSSYBOX.  I received the “Music” scent, but I believe subscribers may receive one of five scents.  Music is a “fresh, aquatic fragrance with dry down of sun-wrenched woods” and it is fantastic.  It’s a little fruity with some deeper woody / musky notes mixed it.  I just love it and the bottle it comes in makes it even more fabulous.

~Luxie Beauty Onyx Noir Tapered Blending Brush 231 ($16): This is a 100% vegan brush made from soft synthetic bristles of a cruelty-free blend.  It’s super soft, and a must-have brush in every makeup bag.

~LaRoche-Posay Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cream Cleanser (6mL total) ($1.15): I love getting face wash/cleanser in subscription boxes.  Products like this come in so handy for traveling.  This is a gentle foaming cleanser that moisturizes and cleanses skin without stripping it dry.

~MeMeMe Beat the Blues Skin Illuminator ($9): tThis highlighter is very similar to Benefit’s High Beam.  It has a thick texture and gives the most beautiful shimmery color. It’s designed to accentuate your cheekbones, but can be used anywhere you want a little glow.

All totaled I came up with a value of $73.15 for the December 2016 GLOSSYBOX.  I loved this box!  It had such a great mixture of items and *might* be one of my favorite boxes from them this year.
