Disclosure: This complimentary box was received for review purposes. All opinions are my own, and no compensation was received.
Loot Crate typically ships via FedEx Smart Post, but actually shipped via Priority Mail this month and got here in just a few days. You can expect to receive this box around the 20th of the month.
The majority of Loot Crate items are exclusives and can be found only in this box.
The information booklet this month included “Top Loot of 2016” which I thought was interesting.
The December 2016 Loot Crate theme was “Revolution” and included the following items:
~Mr. Robot FSociety T-Shirt: This shirt was licensed by NBCUniversal and made by Loot Crate. B looks ready to join his “fellow vigilante hackers” in this ;). Note: B is wearing a men’s large which we find to be true to size. The ladies Loot Crate sizes are quite small and fitted – I recommend sizing up.
~Pop! Assassin’s Creed #379: Another Loot Crate exclusive! Aguilar fights against the oppressive Templars as an assassin in 15th century Spain and now can fight on your display shelf. This movie just came out on the 21st, and I suspect B and I will end up watching it when it comes out on DVD.
~Figure Fantasy Hardcover Book: This is another Loot Crate exclusive and is my favorite item in this box. My brother is going to love it. There are a ton of Star Wars characters in here “rebelling against expectations in scenarios ranging from the epic to the everyday.” There are more than just Star Wars characters in here – it’s all sorts of different Pop Culture icons.
~Firefly Independents Patch: This exclusive patch was based on the original art files made by Firefly graphic designer Dylan Hay-Chapman. Loot Crate suggests putting this on your favorite brownish colored coat or bag.
~Loot Crate Assassin’s Creed Pin: This month’s pin is an Assassin’s Creed Collectible. What does everyone do with their Loot Crate pins? I would love to hear some ideas!
