bluum Subscription Box Review - January 2017 + Coupon Code
bluum is a monthly box of goodies for moms and babies.  Products are hand-selected based on your child’s age (from pregnancy to preschool), gender and developmental stage.  They now have an option that allows you to select the items you wish to receive in your boxes which I think is awesome. You don’t have to pick, but the option is there if you’d like to. The selections were pretty limited this month (they have been lately), so I allowed bluum to make the picks for me.

bluum ships via FedEx Smart Post and generally takes about a week to arrive.  I typically plan on receiving it during the second half of the month.

I apologize for the darkness of the pictures, but I was so anxious to check this box out!  I didn’t make selections for this box and you never know what you’ll get with bluum!

My January 2017 bluum box (for an almost 5 year-old boy) included the following:

~Mudpuppy Babar Sticker Roll ($4.12): Adorable!  W (my almost 5 year-old) loves stickers and who doesn’t want 10 feet of stickers? LOL!  However, these made me realize that W doesn’t know who Babar is!  How is that even possible?  We need to fix that asap!

~Discovery Kids Favorite Pets 3D Readers ($4.99): OMG so cute!  It’s a 3D book about dogs.  W loves dogs and books and LOVED this!  I need to see if I can get some other 3D books like this.  So fun.

~Crocodile Creek Lunch Box Notes ($4.50): I am so confused by the name of this. I thought they were pull out notes to include in your child’s lunchbox.  That was not the case at all.  The first page is what I thought the entire book would be like, but it’s the only page like that in the book.  The rest of the pages are just plain white.  It should be called a spiral notebook and not lunch box notes.

~Naty by Nature Babycare Flushable Wipes ($2.99): The package says these are flushable, but I’m still not going to try it.  They will be useful though.  No matter how young / old you are, it;s always a good idea to carry wipes with you.  These are made from natural ingredients and free from alcohol, chlorine, artificial fragrance & colors, parabens and phthalates.

~dreambaby 2 Cord Wind-Ups ($5.55): We don’t have any blinds with cords in our house, but I will pass these along to someone who does.  These are a must have if you have little ones and blinds with cords!

All totaled my January 2017 bluum box had a value of about $22.  That’s a disappointing value for a $34 box and I am going to send them an e-mail letting them know my thoughts.  bluum is super hit or miss and sadly this box was a miss.

What do you think of bluum?  If you are interested in ordering use coupon code “getbluum” to get $10 off your first month.
