The Boodle Box Review January 2017 Subscription Box

The Boodle Box is a monthly subscription box full of adorable accessories and beauty products that encourage girls of all ages (boxes are broken down into a 5-10 age group and an 11+ age group) to uncover new things and discover themselves in the process! This box is for the 11+ age group (aka Boodle Box Two), but you don’t have to be a tween or teen to enjoy it.  I am well over that age and love it!

The Boodle Box ships via USPS. Boxes arrive at the very beginning of the month (or at the end of the previous month), which I love.

The Boodle Box always does the best themes, and I couldn’t wait to see what they did with their January box.

The January 2017 The Boodle Box theme was “panda-monium” and included the following items:

~Save the Pandas Bracelet: This bracelet is part of the Boodles of Bracelets Awareness program.  Each month The Boodle Box will donate a portion of their proceeds to their quarterly charity. This month’s donation provided nursery supplies for baby pandas.

~Panda Face Mask ($5): These animal masks crack me up.  It is green tea and apple scented and left my skin feeling super moisturized.  It was almost drippy, but my sinuses have been giving me trouble, and the coldness/moisture of this mask was the perfect combo.  Plus I looked like a panda for the 20 minutes it was on so that was fun.

~PREP Cosmetics Bag: PREP Cosmetics has been featured in a few Boodle Box boxes and now we can a makeup bag!  It’s a great size and can be used for makeup or as a pencil/pen case.

~NCLA Designer Nail Wraps ($16): These are glittery black nail wraps.  They could be worn as a set, or you could just use one or two for an accent nail.

~Faux Leather Headband: I am not a headband fan (at least not a fan of harder headbands like these), but this box isn’t aimed at me anyway ;).  I am slightly over the target demographic ;).  I could for sure see this looking adorable on someone.

~You’re So Fine Eyeliner by Elizabeth Mott ($18): I hope you can tell from my picture, but this has just the slightest amount of glitter in it.  This takes a minute to dry, so be careful NOT to rub your eye right after you put it on.

I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this box (I couldn’t find prices on everything), but I think The Boodle Box is quite fun and age appropriate.  It also always comes with a fun snack relating to the theme.  This month we received yummy Panda Cookies!
