ipsy sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost), and I am always amazed at how they do it. I don’t always love everything in the bags, but I always always think it was worth my $10.  They also offer a rewards system for subscribers.  You can earn points by reviewing the items you get in your bags, sharing your ipsy bag on social media, etc. You can then redeem your points for products (often items which were featured in previous months) on the ipsy website.

There is a ton of variation in ipsy bags, so they don’t include product details on their information card. Specific details on the items in your bag can be found in your ipsy account online.

The January 2017 ipsy theme was “metropolis” and included the following items:

~The Bag: This month’s bag was interesting.  It has less structure than their bags normally do and while I do like the looks of it, I worry it may snag on something if I had it in my purse.  This will be an at home ipsy bag.

~pur~lisse Prevent Blue Lotus Seed Mud Mask + Exfoliant (0.5oz) ($20): This 10-minute facial treatment brightens, detoxifies, tightens and soothes skin while also exfoliating.  It has a gritty texture, but I wouldn’t call it harsh.  It’s unscented and left my skin feeling amazing smooth and soft.  Good stuff!

~Temptu Base Smooth & Matte Primer (0.25oz) ($8.66): This primer reduces the appearance of pores and fine lines.  It can be worn alone or under makeup for a smoother look.  I  don’t wear a ton of makeup so I tried it alone and could really see a difference.  It took away a lot of shine and gave me coverage without looking like I had anything on my skin!

~Trust Fund Beauty Lipgasm Lipgloss (Method To The Madness) (4mL) ($22): Method To The Madness is a pink-beige shade.  It’s SO pretty.  It’s got just a hint of color and a ton of shine.  It’s not sticky at all and I think it’s my new favorite gloss.  Also this is a full-size product!!

~theBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer (0.02oz) ($1.60): This look so dark in the package, but I didn’t find that to be the case at all when I tried it.  It’s labeled as a bronzer, but if the shade doesn’t work for you, it also works as a contour powder, neutral brow-filler and matte brown eyeshadow!

~Pacifica Blushious Coconut & Rose Infused Cheek Color (Wildrose) ($12): Another full-size product!  The blush has gorgeous pink undertones while still being a very wearable neutral shade.  Pacifica products are 100% vegan, cruelty-free and are formulated without carmine, FD&C color, parabens and petroleum.

After getting sub boxes for over 2 years, I finally subbed to Ipsy. And it’s surprisingly one of my favorites! However, the last 2 shipments had the liquids explode (hair stuff and nail gel) in them. I just tossed those out and am still happy with the items received! I was lucky enough to get the improved bye bye undereye and it’s rocking my world!

Tell me everything about the IT Cosmetic undereye. I have been seeing ads and I think I need it in my life.
