~Good morning! The boys are back to school after a long break so we’re just trying to get back in the swing of things here. B is out of town (he’ll be gone for a while) so it’s just the little boys and I around here. Oh, and Buddy ;).
~I didn’t hit up the Target 90% off clearance too hard this year (I only went to two stores), but I think I did pretty well. I got blankets for $2.99/each, wrapping paper for $0.50/roll, silly hats for $0.99, a wool / feather pillow for $1.99, Nate Berkus plates for $2.49, a Oh Joy! swan lamp for $6.59, beef jerky for $0.75, a Nate Berkus footstool for $8.99 and a few other things. I debated about the lamp, but am now in love with it. Everytime W walks by it he tells me how much he loves it too ;). The clearance items are likely long gone from the store now (you should see some of these hauls on Instagram), but Valentine’s Day items will eventually get to 90% off, so start checking it out so you know what to look for when it’s time.
~I am looking for a few giveaway winners! Cara J. (BarkBox Lodge Life Box) and Kristen M. (POPSUGAR Rue La La Box) check our e-mails. I sent two e-mails and am still waiting to hear back. I will send a third tomorrow, but after that I have to move on and select new winners. What happens a lot of the time is that people enter with e-mail addresses they don’t check on a regular basis or have my newsletters marked “Spam” because they don’t necessarily want them their inbox everyday. I get it, I totally do, but that also means you won’t see if you win ;( because it all comes from the same e-mail. You don’t have to subscribe to anything to enter my giveaways and thruthfully most people win from the “Just Click Enter” option anyway so keep that in mind. ~I am not expecting too many other subscription boxes this week, but I do know that my Honest Co. bundle is coming, Your Bijoux Box, Pooch Perks, Stitch Fix Men, Yogi Surprise, Birchbox and a few others. I received my January Julep a few days ago, but it only had two items (one of which was wrong), so they are supposed to be sending me the correct items shortly. I haven’t heard back from adidas Avenue A about my empty exchange box (LOL) so I probably need to reach out to them again. I’ll keep you posted!

I am so in love with that lamp! I wanted it at full price but my husband was all grumbly so I didn’t and all my Targets are out of it! Grrr!
Fenton,MI Target was wiped out. Those ladies have shopping clearance there down to a science, so I don’t even bother anymore.
I did manage some gift bags, ornaments and tissue paper at another target for 90% off.And Meijer 70% set me up with gift bags for many Christmas futures. I wish I could have found more ornaments bc I am trying to make wreaths for all the ladies in the family.
I got excited for a second that I might have won a giveaway. Haha. That’s probably the closest I’ll ever get.
The clearance day was crazy, I forgot in the morning so I went around 10, i found some paper, ornaments and gift bags/boxes, I found some decor items that I think someone hide because they were with the vacuums. And actually when I was looking what I wanted I heard a guy saying that he went one day before to hide what he wanted :O. BTW I love your lamp.

Oh and I’m seriously jealous of your Target clearance haul. The Targets in metro Atlanta area clear out so quickly. I’m hoping I can grab one of the Valentines stuffed animals on clearance bc they’re huge and I love sleeping with a big stuffed animal! Haha! They hold my head up.
I hope you can get one! There are a few stores near me that clear out fast too. People need to wait till 90% off and not buy at 50% off!
Didn’t think to look at the jerky on 90% off day…. ! Toy clearance is at 70% off now… I follow the All Things Target page on FB and people are finding some good stuff… Can’t make it there until tomorrow…
I also like Kmarts clearance and Shop Your Way rewards program…. but sadly my store is on the list that was just announced of closing stores… 🙁
The jerky only got to 70% off since it was food. But still, a great price because you know how expensive that stuff is!
My favorite Macy’s is being closed too. Ugh.
