BarkBox Review + Coupon Code - February 2017

BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for dogs. Each monthly box contains a combination of 4-6 treats, toys, and hygiene products that have been hand-selected and approved by Scout (the dog), head product tester for BarkBox. All treats included in the boxes are sourced from the USA and Canada, and chews are sourced from the USA, Canada, South America, Australia and New Zealand, so you can be assured that your pet is only getting safe, high-quality items. Boxes can be customized based on the size of your pet, and you can add an extra toy to your box for an extra $9/month. We have been getting BarkBox for ages and have always been satisfied with them.

BarkBox
Cost: $29/month

BarkBox ships via DHL Global Mail (starts out with DHL and is delivered by the Post Office) and took just a few days to arrive this month. I generally expect it to arrive on or around the 20th of the month.

I don’t post about it enough, but BarkBox does such an amazing job with their themes each month.  Everything fits together perfectly from the information card to the products to the interior packaging paper.

The February 2017 Safari themed BarkBox included the following items:

~Chewfasa The Lion: OMG how cute is this lion?  The back of his head is flat, and he has quite a loud built-in squeaker.  I like watching Buddy (my Yorkie) carry him around.

~Dr. Licking Stone I Presume: This is a BarkBox exclusive and another adorable plush squeaky toy!

~I’d Rather Be With My Dog Lamb & Sweet Potato Treats ($6.99): These are made in the USA out of a paleo-friendly formula free of grain, gluten, and soy.  They are soft and chewy, and Buddy loved them.  I liked that they are little so Buddy can have more than one.

~Koha Jerky Bites Wild Game Flavor: These treats are also soft and chewy, and according to Buddy, are delicious.  I usually dislike the smell of dog treats, but I gotta tell you, these smelled good.  It must be the wild game flavor?

~Butcher’s Block Boxes 3″ Krunchie Tubes: These are made from 100% beef trachea. Yeah, that sounds gross, but Buddy loves them.  Buddy isn’t a big chewer, so it has to be good to be worth the effort for him. And this is worth it!

Lots of these items were BarkBox exclusives, and since they aren’t yet for sale in the BarkBox BarkShop, I can’t do a cost breakdown.  As usual, though we loved this box!  The treats were Buddy’s favorite this month.

Do you subscribe to BarkBox?  What’d you think of this month’s box?  If you want to subscribe or learn more, click here. A monthly subscription is $29/month, but if you opt for a longer subscription, the price drops as low as $21/month (that’s what I get)!
