1. Do you sleep with socks on?  I know I have asked this one in the past, but people have such strong feelings on it.  Mostly being, no way, they would never sleep with socks on.  Lately I have been starting off with socks on and then right before I feel asleep I kick them off.  Then I get super annoyed if I wake up and have cold feet. It’s a constant struggle.

2. What is your favorite local attraction (and where do you live)?  It’s Spring Break here so we are going to try and do some local “stuff” and I would love to hear what your area has to offer!

That’s it from here! I’m looking forward to hearing your answers.

Spread the love

Favorite Local Attraction is DC… I live in Maryland, about a 20 min metro ride from the National Mall and its amazing to be so close!! Last weekend we went to the Kite festival and also saw the Cherry Blossoms which were amazing! I also love being so close to the Smithsonian Museums, they are free to get into and so much fun to just walk around.

    1. No!!!! I HATE wearing socks to bed! I feel like the covers get stuck on them and I can’t move freely. The only exception is if it’s FREEZING and no matter what I do I can’t get warm, then I will wear them to bed but I always wake up without them on.
    2. I also live in Maryland like the poster before me. We have two young kids so we like going to the Baltimore Aquarium, the National Zoo, and there are several places that have petting farms around us.

    1. Eek! No on the socks, that makes me cringe thinking about it.
    2. We live in Tomball, Texas – a suburb NW of Houston and we usually just go to Galveston to the beach or go to the horse races or we just go eat crawfish and drink beer. We’re easily entertained. If we’re “back home” closer to Waco, my husband hunts/fishes/golfs and I go antiquing, Baylor games during football season, and definitely West Fest on labor day. Again, easily entertained.

    1. Absolutely not. The idea of socks on while sleeping makes me squirmy, I don’t know why. Sometimes when I’m super cold or sick, I think I can do it, but like you, I kick them off before I fall asleep.

    2. I like in Sacramento, CA. I don’t know that I have a favorite spot in town, but we are smack dab in the middle of a bunch of cool places within a hour or so drive. It’s an hour-ish to Tahoe or an hour-ish to San Francisco, an hour-ish to Napa and that leads to many of my favorite places.

First- during Jammie-time only the fluffiest comfiest socks will do.
Second- after a fluffing the blankets at the end of the bed making sure there’s enough room for maximum foot movement, wear socks to bed. Read & get sleepy.
Third- Push socks off feet then push them to the far corner of the bed so they can drop out. That way you know exactly where they are in the morning when you put them back on!
I think it’s b’cuz my feet & ankles get sore from workouts/life that I’ve created this ritual. When did just dropping into bed no matter what quit being a thing?

    1. If I have socks on that day I normally wear them to bed but then in the summer when I don’ wear socks I don’t sleep with them so I guess I can go either way.
    2. Cary, NC – we have a couple great museums that my boys like to go to,Museum of Life and Science in Durham and then Marbles Museum in Raleigh, but I think we will be aging out of them soon so we will have to move up to a couple that are a bit older like the Science and History Museums in Raleigh. We also love all the local parks there are here to go to. We have tiny yards but lots of greenways and parks so we spend a ton of time a those.
