Walmart Beauty Box Review - Spring 2017

My Walmart Beauty Box has arrived! I finally subscribed, and I am so glad I did. Each quarterly Walmart Beauty Box contains brand name product samples, all of which are available at Walmart for purchase.  Boxes are broken down into two categories – Classic and Trendsetter.  Your age in your profile determines which box you will receive.

Subscribers receive either the “Trendsetter” or “Classic” box.  Based on my profile I received the Classic box.

The box was jam packed, and the presentation was top-notch!

Walmart Beauty Box Review - Spring 2017

The Spring 2017 Walmart Beauty Box – Classic included the following items:

~Jergen Natural Wet Glow Wet Skin Moisturizer (2oz) ($2.30): This is designed to be used on wet skin.  When mixed with wet skin, the moisturizer works to instantly lock in moisture and gradually build natural-looking color each day.  It’s easy to use and hard to end up all streaky with this.

~ban Powder Fresh Roll-On (1.5oz) ($1.86): I haven’t used a roll-on deodorant in ages!  This smells good and seems to work well enough, so I am happy.

~soapbox Body Wash (2oz) ($0.60): I didn’t know that Walmart sold soapbox products!  I love this stuff!  It smells “like the ocean, ” and for every bottle purchased, soapbox gives back a bar of soap to someone in need.

~Schwarzkopf Gliss Ultimate Repair Shampoo (1.7fl.oz) ($0.68) and Conditioner (1.7fl.oz) ($0.68):  This is supposed to help reconstruct hair and give it more shine.  I am going to save these and take them with me the next time I travel.  I ALWAYS forget to pack shampoo and conditioner and end up not liking the hotel options.

Walmart Beauty Box Review - Spring 2017

~Pure ICE Nail Polish (Tickle Me Pink) ($1.98): Such a pretty color!  It’s a very sheer ballet pink and gives you just a hint of color. I love it.

~Colgate Optic White Radiant Toothpaste (0.75oz) ($1.75): Again, another great item for traveling.  My husband travels a ton and this will go straight in his travel kit.

Walmart Beauty Box Review - Spring 2017

~SOO AE Nature Vitamin Collagen Essence Mask ($2.50): This mask replenishes skin with moisture while also working to brighten and “plump” skin.  I found that it helped with moisture, but I didn’t “see” any real difference.  It felt great though.

Walmart Beauty Box Review - Spring 2017

All totaled the Spring 2017 Walmart Beauty Box had a value of $12.35.  That’s over double the cost of the box and I will use everything in here.  I am glad I finally picked this box up!

The Spring 2017 Walmart Beauty Box is still available!  If you are interested in signing up, you can do so here.

Did you get trendsetter or classic?

      Classic

I just got my first box too! I didn’t get to fill out a personal profile though. Maybe because I signed up for it on my phone instead of a computer? I’m pretty sure mine said it was the trendsetter box. Mine is a little different than yours but I loved and feel like I got more stuff that I would in other boxes like it. 🙂

There’s not much to fill out (personal profile). It’s based on your age…35 and over are classics, everyone under is trendsetters. I signed my daughter and I up about a year ago and LOVE it. She’s trendsetter, I’m classic. Sometimes we trade items here and there but we ultimately use everything.

I rec’d the Classic box but mine did not have the Ban deodorant or the soapbox body wash or the nail polish. I had everything else plus they threw in 4 foil-pack type samples of other products which I assume are to make up for the regular items no longer being available. It doesn’t make up for not getting body wash or nail polish (the thing I wanted the most) so I’m going to cancel my subscription for a few months & then try again. I found that my boxes came faster & were more nicely packed when I was a newer subscriber.

Not happy with my box.it has no makeup and relatively less products. Disappointing.
