The Boodle Box is a monthly subscription box full of adorable accessories and beauty products that encourage girls of all ages (boxes are broken down into a 5-10 age group and an 11+ age group) to uncover new things and discover themselves in the process! This box is for the 11+ age group (aka Boodle Box Two), but you don’t have to be a tween or teen to enjoy it. I am well over that age and love it!
Disclosure: This complimentary box was received for review purposes. All opinions are my own, and no compensation was received.
The August 2017 The Boodle Box included the following items:
~Hikari Cosmetics Shimmer Bronzer (Flush) ($17): My box included “Flush” which is described as light pink bronze. The pigmentation is fantastic, and the colors are gorgeous. Very user-friendly to apply and very wearable.
~Gypset Pony Set from Knotty ($14): Cute! At first, I thought maybe these were bracelets, but they are pony tail holders. With those charms though they will look cute in your hair and on your wrists!
~For Keyps Bracelet ($9.99): This bracelet is the second in the stack highlighting children’s literacy. The third will arrive in September’s Boodle Box as International Literacy Day is coming up in September.
~Mermaid Brush ($14): How cool is this? It’s easily the most fun makeup brush I have come across in a subscription box! It comes with a case too, so it’s very easy to store.
~Hikari Lip Gloss (Sand) ($13): Sand is a neutral shade which works alone or over your favorite shade. It perfectly compliments this month’s “beachy” box too!
~Waterless by Gillette Venus ($2.99): This razor can be used anytime, anywhere. It has a gel inside which allows you to use it out of the shower! I found it awkward to use, but I think we have all shaved and then realized after we got dressed that we missed a strip of hair on our legs. This will solve that!
~Sea Vibes Pouch by Kitsch ($9): Eeek! Love! Prints on this may vary, but I love my “Let’s be Mermaids.” It has a ziplock type top and will hold all of your beach supplies that you’d prefer not get all sandy.
All totaled the August 2017 The Boodle Box had a value of about $80. I loved this month’s box! Great value and, as usual, a great curation. I also want to mention that every month includes a snack which matches the theme and this months was Goldfish!
