Alpine seemed like it would be the best option for my husband this month!

The October 2017 Bespoke Post “Alpine” box included the following:

~Peak CPO Jacket by Gilded Age ($199): The Peak CPO Jacket is based on a jacket originally worn by Chief Petty Officers of the U.S. Navy, hence the name “CPO”.  It’s a transitional jacket – perfect for fall.  The exterior is a hard-wearing cotton blend twill fabric, while the interior has a quilted polyester lining and 60 gram polyfill insulation.  Unfortunately, it’s too small for my husband.  Bespoke Post shows a 6’1, 170-pound model wearing a Medium, so I thought the same would work for my husband (he’s 5’10 and around the same weight).  It does not.  It’s very short in the arms and tight across the back.  I have reached out to Bespoke and am hopeful they will be able to exchange.  Other than the fact that it doesn’t fit, it’s a fantastic jacket!  Very well made and a classic style.

The box also included a Standard Cedar Hanger by Woodlore.  I wasn’t expecting that and thought it was a nice touch.  The jacket alone retails for $199, so for $45 I feel like we got a steal!  I will update this review as soon as I hear back from Bespoke about an exchange. Update: Bespoke Post offered my choice of a refund (less a $6 shipping fee), credit to my account or an exchange for a different size.
