Stitch Fix Review - October 2017
Stitch Fix is a personal styling service for women. With Stitch Fix, you provide your style, size (they also do maternity fixes), and budget preferences, and they will send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. You only pay for the items you love and decide to keep. There is a $20 styling fee which is applied to your order should you decide to keep any / all of the pieces.  If you don’t keep anything, you don’t receive a refund of the fee. If you keep all of the pieces, you get a 25% discount on everything!  Stitch Fix is now offering exchanges for sizing as well. Also, I should mention that you are only charged once you “check out” at Stitch Fix.  You have a few days to try everything on, and the box comes with a bag and a prepaid USPS return label so you can easily ship back the pieces you aren’t interested in.

Stitch Fix Review - October 2017
I don’t do the best job of filling out my checkout form and reviewing the pieces I get, but I do have my Stitch Fix blog reviews linked in my profile which I think helps a lot.
Stitch Fix Review - October 2017
My October 2017 Stitch Fix (Fix #50) included the following items:

~Toms Desert Wedge Booties ($89):  I don’t dislike these booties, but I don’t $89 love them either.  I love the height they give me, but they were a little big and just didn’t speak to me.  I do like the suede material and found them to be well-constructed and comfortable. Verdict: Returned.

~Le Lis Covington One Pocket Top ($58): Meh.  I LOVE this plaid, but the button downs tend me to a miss with me.  If they fit in the body, they pull in the chest area.  If they fit in the chest, they are bulky elsewhere.  Had it been a thicker, more jacket like flannel with a lining, I may have been swayed into keeping it.  This one is lightweight and incredibly soft, but just didn’t fit me right.  Verdict: Returned.

~Liverpool Jacqueline Skinny Pant ($78): These are the perfect combination of jeans + leggings.  They feel like leggings, but they have a button and zipper-like jeans. They were true-to-size (although I do think they’d end up much looser after wearing them for a day), but just too long on me (for reference I am 5’4).  I’m wearing them in the bootie picture above, and they’d need to be hemmed (unless I wore them with tall boots). I debated keeping them and getting them hemmed but probably wouldn’t wear them enough to make it worth it.  Maybe if they were black? Verdict: Returned.

~August Mist Brisa Cardigan ($44): This is absolutely me!  It’s cozy and cute, and I love the elbow patches.  The only thing holding me back from keeping it is the way it bunches in the back around my neck.  It just feels like a lot of material back there?  Verdict: Undecided.

~Kensie Arza Spacedye Cowl Neck Pullover ($78):  I saved the best for last!  I LOVE this pullover.  It’s SO SOFT and flattering (at least I think it is) and super comfortable.  I feared it would leave fuzzies everywhere, but that was not the case at all.  Perfect!  Verdict: Kept.

It’s a bummer the leggings were so long, they look great with the sweater you kept! I like the cardigan, and it’s a pretty reasonable price. I think you should keep it!

I might!! I do like the leggings, but I just wouldn’t wear them enough!

I agree about the leggings, they are considered a neutral and pair with so many things.
