Spartan Box ships via USPS Priority Mail and took just a day to get to me. This month’s box shipped a few days late, but the holidays contributed to that.
I am a Michigan State alumni and this box is quickly becoming my new favorite box. I opt for the “Spartan Woman” box, but “Spartan Man” and “Spartan Child” boxes are available as well.
My November 2017 Spartan Box included the following items:
~Canvas Embroidered Spartan Sweatshirt: I.love.this! I mentioned it last month, but I am in need of some new Spartan gear and this sweatshirt is incredible. The inside is super soft and fuzzy and so cozy. It’s mean to be oversized (I got a Medium), so you can comfortably wear it with leggings or jeans. LOVE!
~Spartan Ink Pen: Maybe not the most exciting item in the box, but you’ll need it for the next item!
~Custom Shinola Spartan Journal: Shinola is one brand I never though I would see in a subscription box! They are headquartered in Detroit and sell watches, bikes, leather goods, etc. I believe that this piece is a Spartan Box exclusive as I don’t see it on their website. The linen cover is cream with the Michigan State logo in Spartan green. It has 192 lined pages and is manufactured in the United States from all US-sourced components. I can’t even begin to tell you how thrilled I am about this!
I couldn’t do a cost breakdown on this box, but I am over the moon. I paid $44.95 for this box, but it looks like they have dropped their prices and, going forward, will be just $29.95/month (plus tax and shipping). WHAT? Every Spartan needs to get this box now!
