ipsy Review - April 2018
ipsy sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost), and I am always amazed at how they do it. I don’t always love everything in the bags, but I always always think it was worth my $10.  They also offer a rewards system for subscribers.  You can earn points by reviewing the items you get in your bags, sharing your ipsy bag on social media, etc. You can then redeem your points for products (often items which were featured in previous months) on the ipsy website.

ipsy bags have a ton of variation, so they don’t include product details on their information card. If you happen to stumble on this review, don’t be surprised if you end up with an entirely different bag. Specific details on the items in your bag can be found in your ipsy account online.
ipsy Review - April 2018
The April 2018 ipsy theme is “Social Butterfly,” and my Glam Bag included the following items:

~The Bag: This month’s bag is so fun!  It’s covered in butterflies and has gorgeous rose gold accents.  L’s teacher is all about butterflies, and I am going to figure out a way to incorporate this into her year-end gift.  She will love it!

~BUBBLE T COSMETICS Lemongrass & Green Tea Stimulating Hand Cream (30mL) ($0.85): This smells incredible!  The fresh lemongrass and green tea scent is amazing.  It’s lightweight and made my hands feel super soft.

ipsy Review - April 2018

~NAILMEDIC Nail Polish in Rise & Slay ($7.99): This polish is infused with keratin and calcium to strengthen and restore damaged nails.  I tried it on my toes, and it took two coats to cover.  The color is perfect for Spring, and I am always excited about getting polish in boxes.

ipsy Review - April 2018

~RUBY Eyeshadow Blending Brush (~$12): The pointed tip on here is great for depositing color into delicate areas like the inner corner of your eye, eye crease, and lower lashline.  The brush picked up shadow well and blended nicely.

~CLARK’S BOTANICALS Retinol Rescue Overnight Cream (10mL) ($19.60):  I was so excited to get this in my ipsy!  The time-release retinol works through the night to restore your skin, and keep it smooth and firm.  It felt great on my skin, wasn’t overly heavy and my skin looked refreshed in the morning.

~CIATÉ LONDON Starstruck Double-Ended Stamp Liquid Liner (.04oz) (~$10): I am not much of an eyeliner fan (in fact I would be okay with never getting another eyeliner in a subscription box), but I will say that this was easy to apply.  The star stamp is cute, but not something I would use (unless I was heading to Coachella maybe).

All totaled I came up with a value of about $50.44 for my April 2018 ipsy.  I am thrilled!  The value was outstanding, and I feel like I got a great combo of items this month.
