Play! by Sephora has switched to recycled bags (they previous sent cloth bags) and I love them. I usually ended up tossing the drawstring cloth ones, but I will save these resealable ones.

The September 2018 Play! by Sephora theme is “NEXT-GEN BEAUTY” and included the following items:

~SUNDAY RILEY Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream (.3oz) ($11.73): Send me all the Sunday Riley!  This is an advanced brightening and refining treatment used to treat darkness, dry spots and fine lines and wrinkles.  It is ultra hydrating but doesn’t feel at all heavy or greasy.  LOVE!
Play! by Sephora Review - September 2018

~Peter Thomas Roth Hungarian Thermal Water Mineral-Rich Atomic Heat Mask (7.5mL) ($2.90): This is an interesting mask.  You apply it to clean, dry skin and leave on for a few minutes.  The heat portion of the mask is activated by wetting fingertips with cool water and then massaging into the skin.  It was fun to use and I do think my skin looked somewhat brighter.

~SEPHORA COLLECTION LashCraft Big Volume Mascara (5g) ($5.60): I know I have mentioned it in the past, but I have lash extensions and don’t wear mascara.  I will donate this or pass it along to a friend to try.

~NUDESTIX Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Pencil (Kiss) (2.5g) (~$10): Kiss is a cool toned rosy pink with matte finish.  Brecause of the matte finish I like it better as a cheek pencil than as a lip pencil.  But if you love a matte lip, this is a great shade.

~Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer (5mL) ($4): A primer that hydrates, smoothes, and brightens skin for a dewy, healthy looking finish.   It is designed to be worn under makeup for a flawless finish, but I find that it works well alone.  It doesn’t necessarily cover anything, it just makes your natural skin look better.
Play! by Sephora Review - September 2018

~VIKTOR&ROLF Flowerbomb Nectar (1.2mL) ($2.88): Flowerbomb is a warm and spicy fragrance with notes of Jasmine, Orange Blossom and Patchouli.  It’s a fantastic floral scent without being too overwhelming.  Good stuff!

All totaled my September 2018 Play! by Sephora had a value of about $37.  Pretty nice for a $10 box!

What did you think of the September 2018 Play! by Sephora? One thing to keep in mind is that Play! sends out a variety of boxes each month, so you may end up receiving a different box than your best friend who is also a subscriber. If you are interested in subscribing (and you probably should be because their boxes are great), you can check them out here.

Spread the love
