I had no idea what my variations were, so I was excited to dig in!
BOXYCHARM Subscription Review - January 2019
The January 2019 BOXYCHARM theme is “BOXY AND CHILL” and included the following items:

~Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray (2oz) ($12): A subscription box favorite. This ultra-light, leave-in conditioning spray that brings hydration and moisture to locks.  It is great for my flyaways and always leaves my hair shiny and smooth.

~Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick ($20): Ack.  This was such a miss for me that I didnt even get a chance to look at the color before I gave it to my SIL.  It is highly pigmented and does not bleed, but the shade just is not me.  Plus it is a matte, which I also do not love.

~Tarte Limited-Edition Rainforest of the Sea Highlighting Eyeshadow Palette Vol. III ($36): According to the internet, this is the least desirable palette of the three BOXYCHARM sent out this month.  I am not sure why that is exactly as I am quite pleased with this one.  Then again, I do love neutrals!  The palette includes the following eight shades:

  • Escape (nude pink luster)
  • Tiki (matte beige)
  • Heat Wave (pink luster)
  • Malibu (plum bronze)
  • Rays (peachy copper)
  • Compass (champagne)
  • Jewel (copper)
  • Treasure (pearlescent)

~Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Face Mask (2 Pack) ($24): These are silky soft, skin-fitting sheet mask that delivers a healthy drink of ultra-hydrating botanical oils and extracts for a dewy glow in just one use.  It i great for dullness and uneven texture, dryness and fine lines and wrinkles.  I love getting Tatcha products in subscription boxes and hope BOXY keeps it up.

~Billion Dollar Brows Univeral Brow Pencil ($18): BOXYCHARM is on a constant effort to try and get me to fill in my brows.  So far it has not worked.  LOL!  I need to, but I am just not great at it.  I do like the spoolie end to tame my brows (I use a little water), but I find getting my brows tinted works much better for me (aka I do not have to do anything) than filling them in.

BOXYCHARM Subscription Review - January 2019

All totaled I came up with a value of $110 for my January 2019 BOXYCHARM. As usual, the value was fantastic and I loved this box (with the exception of the liquid lipstick anyway.
