Play! by Sephora Review - March 2020

Play! by Sephora has switched to recycled bags (they previous sent cloth bags) and I love them. I usually ended up tossing the drawstring cloth ones, but I will save these resealable ones.

The March 2020 Play! by Sephora theme is “Beauty in the Wild” and included the following items:

~Stila All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Intense Black (0.25mL) ($5.50): Is this the month of black eyeliner or what?  LOL!  Like with the others, I will be passing this one on to a friend to enjoy.

~NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment in Starwoman (2mL) ($9.45): Starwoman is a vivid blue red.  This is a highly pigmented matte liquid lippie.  Unlike most matte lip products though, I am into this one. It is lightweight, smudge-free and surprisingly wearable.

~GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow (15mL) ($14.70): Glowstarter is a daily illuminating moisturizer to give your skin an instant hydrated glow.  The scent does not bother me, but I know not everyone loves it.  It make my skin glow with just a slight amount of shimmer.  I am a fan!
Play! by Sephora Review - March 2020

~Fresh Sugar Mint Rush Freshening Lip Treatment (2.2g) ($12.28):  I love getting fresh balms in subscription boxes.  The mint isn’t my all-time favorite scent, but it it does a fantastic job moisturizing.
Play! by Sephora Review - March 2020

~Drybar Detox Clear Invisible Dry Shampoo (10g) ($2.30):  I think I may be one of the only people who does not use dry shampoo on a regular basis.  I do sometimes use it though and I love the drybar brand.  In addition to being cruelty-free, this is also free of sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, and phthalates.
Play! by Sephora Review - March 2020

~Bonus: Moschino Toy 2 (~$1): You 2 is a fresh floral scent with notes of Mandarin Orange, Peony and Ambery Woods.  It isn’t an overpowering scent and I absolutely love it.
Play! by Sephora Review - March 2020

All totaled my March 2020 Play! by Sephora had a value of about $46. I am happy with the value and thought this was a well rounded box – even if every item wasn’t necessarily a good fit for me.

What did you think of the March 2020 Play! by Sephora? One thing to keep in mind is that Play! sends out a variety of boxes each month, so you may end up receiving a different box than your best friend who is also a subscriber. If you are interested in subscribing (and you probably should be because their boxes are great), you can check them out here.

Spread the love
