Sunday Sentiments

-Happy Sunday! It was a gorgeous weekend here (it snowed at the beginning of the week, but was 80 DEGREES today) and I loved every second of it. I sat outside and read “One Italian Summer“. It was SO GOOD. It took a turn I wasn’t expecting and at one point I was like no, I am going to hate this. But I kept reading and it delivered. A perfect beach / pool read.

-Have you shopped the Target Easter clearance?  I went yesterday (my store was 70% off) and am pretty pleased with my finds.  The candles were $3 (reg $10), the plates were $0.90 (reg. $3), the towels were $1.80 (reg. $6) and the champagne glasses (plastic) were $1.80 (reg. $6).  I am guessing 90% off everywhere tomorrow. One of my stores was 90% off today, but the other was still 70%.

-I watched “White Hot: The Rise & Fall of Abercrombie & Fitch” Friday night and was surprised only by the photographer part.  I don’t remember that. AT ALL. I was in high school / college during the 90’s so I do remember their “image” (although my local mall was never cool enough to have the shirtless models) and the scandal(s). An interesting watch even if you are already familiar with the story. How they were able to rebound and revamp their image is fascinating because with everything they did it’s basically unthinkable looking at it with today’s eyes! A Victoria’s Secret documentary is coming to Hulu soon which also should be quite interesting!

-That’s it from here.  Have a great night!
